  1. I'm thrilled man! fantastic play.... you called out the game from last week, not me.. Go bills!
  2. Granted this is limited game footage, but don't know how anyone can criticize Edmunds on any of these plays. I recall numerous times that Zo was blown out of the play....im sure Edmunds was at times too...just hopeful we rebound we'll next week and focus on finding quality depth this offseason. Entire front seven was disappointing yesterday For the record, I'm a big Zo fan...but only as a sub package and special teams player.
  3. Thanks 26! Said it in another thread, this just further illustrates Milanos value. I know everyone is tearing into Edmunds, but as I stated in that thread, Zo stood out as the bigger liability. Can't blame him, he's a team player/sub package man, and should never be starting at one of our LB positions....we need better depth in 2019.
  4. I appreciate that you at least consider and can respect my opinion. I haven't been on here 20 years but respect that. Hoping for a strong finish next week and progression by all of our young players this offseason...good times ahead
  5. I'll also point out, that everyone should go back and watch some replays, if you're available to. You'll notice double digit run attempts that the Pats motioning WR or TE "crack" down on the outside defender and leave Wallace to make a 1-1 tackle outside...which I admit that Wallace has shown promise in coverage, but he really needs to improve his tackling. And the jet sweeps...ive never seen a defense so incapable of stopping this. The Bills defensive ends and OlBs did not adjust to this at all. Like many have said, not having Milano really hurt. I think we can appreciate him a little more after this poor effort. The Bills lack of depth at LB really hurts. When you have to start a rookie UDFA and an aging (who is best suited as a sub package player, not fulltime, in Zo) this is the outcome. Again, go ahead and say the unit played horribly...dont single out a player, 1 of 11. These are the moments that we wish that we could fast forward 1-2 years and say "I told you so"...but don't worry I'll be here waiting and ready to bring this back up
  6. Manny Lawson is a horrible comp... Try Ryan Shazier, as I mentioned last night. Both came into the NFL needing to improve on strength/block shedding and play recognition. Like Edmunds, Shazier had a rookie season of ups and downs, but constantly improved (though Shazier struggled with injuries his 1st season). I wish I could watch a game with some of you guys, Badolbilz and scottlaw. I'd put my football background and credentials up against yours anyway of the week. It really frustrated me with people who seem to know what responsibilities players have, it's a team game and th way our defense is constructed we need our dline to do a better job of keeping our Lbs clean. That didnt happen yesterday. With all the Jet sweeps, wham blocks, and stretch plays, our dline played horrible. Check out what Logic posted from Cover1, and go learn something. Otherwise, PM me and I'll meet you sometime to watch a game. Like I said, would be fun to chat live and point out what you should be looking at
  7. Clearly Buffalo is developing their rookies. But if the coaches thought Edmunds was "outplayed by Stanford" throughout the year, don't you think they would have eased him in...ie: various sub packages? You are obviously biased against Edmunds. All I'm suggesting is wait for these "don't be surprised if he's at OLB next year" hot takes. And worst player on the field.....jeesh. Do you know what gap responsibilities each player had, on every single play? How about our offensive line play? what about our stellar team tackling? Punter, he played better than Edmunds too, right? C'mon, you either have an agenda against the kid, were in love with another MLB in the draft, or just dillusional to single him out like that. Check back with me next offseason, we'll see which position he's at and how he's progressed.
  8. Julian Stanford didn't outlay him...if he did, then Stanford would be the starter. Not that it matters anyhow... Regarding Edmunds this season, he reminds me alot of Ryan Shaziers rookie season. Ryan was not physical and always seemed 1 steo behind....fast forward a couple years and he was one of the best in the league. Give the guy some time to develop with another NFL offseason
  9. Need to hear more on Orton. Fear he might need to eat crow. Career ending possibly. Seriously, over react much? It's one thing to say you fear he suffered a serious injury, but to then add the career ending? Why/what's the point of saying that? I'm just glad McKenzie is healthy, but calling this out as a future lesson...pls dont be so over dramatic. Not everyone has a chance to watch the game, and they come to this board for updates, not hot takes.
  10. Have to try to find out. Sometimes it's more about motivation, discipline, etc vs what scheme is being deployed. At this point, nothing to lose
  11. What are your (you and Ryan) expectations of James, if we sign him? I live in the thick of Steeler country, have friends that know him from his days at South Allegheny high school, and watch them play every Sunday. Not to disappoint. but if you're looking for a true #1 TE it's not James. He's a complimentary player in a great offense, who has been phased out since the end of last season for the likes of Vance McDonald. Again, depends what the team is looking for from their TEs, but knowing Dabolls background, I think they look for a better option
  12. Thanks, why not give him a shot for 3 games? Not sure how much will be learned, but if you have a lame duck coach and out of the playoff race, then it can't hurt
  13. Beyond the physical altercation, the manner in which the hotel staff on hand and police on scene handled the situation is truly sad. On top of that, the NFL seemed to do very little to pursue additional details about that evening, UNTIL TMZ released the video...again disturbing. I'm a diehard nfl fan, but situations like these are what the 'skeptical' public eye hold onto to paint a bleak image about the league and its athletes. At this point, Hunt would have been better off if the NFL did their due diligence from day 1. Usually, more harsh consequences result from an organization in 'damage control' mode. Suspension might be less than a season, but strongly believe that all teams will be encouraged to stay clear unless they are "100% certain" that he will stay out of trouble...cant see a team willing to take that risk and public beatdown. I agree with the poster above, I don't see Hunt coming back from this.
  14. Very true, but they do a solid job masking that weakness with their exotic defense looks
  15. Absolutely, what a steal for the chargers Ben turning over the ball, is the only thing holding the Steelers back from a Super bowl trip
  16. Officials can be laid off, and has happened already this year....lets hope that's been 3 false starts already
  17. Considering he was brought in as the #4 corner, on a cheap deal, not sure why this qualifies as disaster talk. You can't put the Davis retirement on the front office, they saw a 1yr stopgap that could provide veteran leadership....obviously Davis screwed that up
  18. Trust me, this guy is not worth your time. He's blind with rage, and for some reason thinks the Kerley release is a signal that Beane has no clue. FWIW, I agree with you completely. Logic and patience is lost on the angry and out of touch
  19. Excellent post! I can also see the plan that Beane/McDermott are deploying, and it should also be clear to every fan as they've been transparent with their thought of building a long term winner. But it takes time. Like it or not, Patience is key. Jury is still out if this overhaul will work, but i have faith. Past mismanagement of the team and what Beane/McDermott inherited all need to be taken into consideration
  20. I think we might see Miller go to the bench soon.... Delayed blitz recognition, tackle/end stunts....overall he just struggles to pass protect very well. Interior oline is such an issue right now, I don't know if Boettger or Teller are the solution, but we'll probably see them sooner than later, as they'll want to see what these young guys are capable of
