  1. For fellow season ticket holders, does anyone know if the nfl Gamepass is available free of charge, again this season? Apologize if this was discussed, Thanks Go Bills!
  2. Another look at me thread, soon to be debunked after tomorrow comes and goes.... I respect your contributions to the board, but I thought Brandon Beane already ruled us out from signing Dez
  3. My apologies. Carolina officially lists Davis as their will and Shaq Thompson at their Sam. For the record, Davis has played both Sam and will during his career. My original point is not to get caught up in the Sam vs will position listing, but rather that Davis is a much more explosive and physical player than Milano. Milanos strength and physicality was his big weakness last season. He overcomes some of that with instincts and his short area burst. But once linemen engage with him, he was usually overmatched. Not to say he can't improve on that, hopefully, with an NFL off-season program, he can further hone in and develop in those areas. I wouldn't be shocked, if he and Humber rotate again this season. Milano is certainly the sub package, nickle backer, but I don't think he has graduated to 3 down territory yet. we will see
  4. Love your enthusiasm, but that's a pretty extreme comparison. Kuechly is the best MLB in the NFL since Urlacher. Now I think Edmunds will play the Kuechly type role, and be very good, if that's what you're trying to say. The Milano/Davis comparison is pretty far off base. Davis is a Sam backer, Milano is a Will who is best in nickle situations. Davis is much more physical and one of the best 4-3 Sam backers in a while
  5. well I'm not on social media, so have fun finding me. and second off, if this Matt guy is going to attack someone, it opens the door for people to criticize him. Don't throw stones if you have a glass house bro.
  6. Stats are stats, while helpful, they can be misleading. I can easily find great stats for college Qbs that didn't pan out for various reasons in the NFL. And if you get time, go compare Josh Allen's and Carson Wentz's college stats...they are very similar. Point being, there is so much more involved in this process, and we as fans can usually only fall back on stats to support our opinions. I would recommend trusting the Gm and coach that just provided the m pay memorable season to Bills fans, in quite some time. I believe they have us on the right path, but only time will tell
  7. Way too bold of a statement. Zo brings a lot to this team, including his leadership, special teams play, etc. With all the new beef up front, I think we'll continue to see a nickle package predominantly. Base defenses are becoming less important, and being creative with matchup and subpackages are more important to shut down passing attacks. That said, Edmunds is our MLB, as Beane already pointed out. Milano will likely see more time than any other lb, but I expect a lot of moving parts utilizing all the different skill sets that we have.
  8. So with that logic, you're saying that Andrew Luck had a 4-12 season with Indy this past year...hmm Probably better to stick with your original premise that a defensive tackle at pick #12 was your recommendation....now that's something we can all agree with
  9. You do realize that Josh Allen didn't tweet that, it was Matt whoever.. but good try with your humor, maybe learn how this tweeting thing works gramps
  10. Funnier than the tweet, the dudes profile who wrote it....juggling nerd and soccer fan....keep this guy away from your kids. Seriously though, this Matt Marinara along with everyone else dissing the Josh Allen selection, please remember the individuals that you're challenging (that'd be Beane and Sean), and what they did for this franchise/city in the past year+. I think I'll continue to trust their process and decision making, until they prove us wrong.
  11. Time will tell how this draft pans out. but one thing is for sure, you NEED a great qb to be the best in the NFL. Josh has as much upside as any of the top Qbs this year, and when you analyze how his skill set compares to others in the NFL, he has the potential to be as effective as Big Ben or Carson Wentz down the line. He might not be the 'safest pick' of the draft, but NFL front offices understand the premium and how difficult it is to find franchise Qbs...it is the most difficult position to transition grom college to NFL. All that said, if you think adding a defensive tackle is what it takes to put this franchise into super bowl contention, then you probably have bigger issues to sort out. As for Edmunds, go check what Minnesota fans thunk of Anthony Barr. He and Trumaine are cut from the same cloth.
  12. Look, Watson wad not a sure fire prospect last year....not like we had a top 5 pick and passed. Bottom line, we're now back at a similar position (pick 12 vs pick 10), and there is bound to be a "Watson" type sitting at 12 again this year. Everyone needs to calm down and let this thing play out.
  13. I just think people miss out on the fact that they took advantage of getting great value for Glenn, and interpret that trade as step 1 of getting into the top 5. Perhaps, Beane has another target at 12, maybe a Mlb, which would make a huge impact on this defense
  14. So you're saying we never had a chance to make a deal with the Colts? But you think the Jets gave up all those picks and are gambling that Buffalo won't make a trade with the Giants....hmmm Better odds, Gmen stand pat and draft Barkley. If Indy was never in play for us, still can't get why you said we "lost out"...more like never had the opportunity
  15. I honestly think Beane could have beat the Jets offer, so no I don't think he valued Rosen or whoever quarterback that high....which makes this thread useless, since it will take more to get pick #2
  16. I saw that, so we need to believe everything Todd Mcshay is saying....ill remember that next time he throws out some garbage comment...it probably won't take long for that to happen
  17. That was Dorsey's MO when he had a QB to build around in Smith. If they thought Taylor was the long term answers, they would have reworked his contract when they traded for him. They're taking Darnold, and likely Fitz
  18. Go Bills! Only a select few truly know if the Pats had any interest...but nonetheless we got Aj very cheap, likely a statement about how other teams view him and likely we didn't have to get into a bidding war
  19. See my post above, we can disagree but I can't see the Giants passing up on Barkley....and think they are a couple years away from moving on from Eli
  20. That's a fair comment, I just don't see the Gmen passing up on Barkley, no matter the trade compensation...i think he's the next Leveon Bell
  21. Like many others have said, there's been a plan in place since last season to accumulate picks and be able to go get "our guy" at QB. Peterman and Mccarron are not the long term answers, now is the time to grab the franchise man
  22. Let me start by saying that I expect, like many other fans, that Buffalo is looking to jump into the top 5 to draft their future QB. Aj Mccarron signing doesn't change any of that line of thinking. That said, many media heads and some fans, have predicted Buffalo and Cleveland striking a deal for the 4th pick...i just don't see that happening, and here's why: 1. Cleveland is already loaded with picks in this year's draft, and it's a quite possible they'd rather have our 1st round pick next year (instead of multiple 2nd or 3rd rounders from us this year)....i can't see Beane giving that up 2. Browns know that beating Pittsburgh starts with slowing down their padding attack. I see them taking a QB at #1, then drafting the best CB at #4 I'm predicting the Colts to be our trade partner....Darnold goes #1, Barkley to the Gmen at #2, and for us to take Josh Rosen at #3
