  1. I sort of agree here. I also insist the game was closer than the final score indicated and the Bills nearly clawed back in the game. There is a huge difference between getting your ass kicked like we did in the Bengals game, and Colts a few years ago...and that Ravens game. I'm mostly speaking about the eye test here. Bengals game we just got pushed back like chumps. I don't necessarily feel it's a bad matchup. Although Henry is a bad matchup for anyone. The Bills kill themselves when they resort to high risk down field throws with predictable repetitive fashion. 3 downs of "huck it deep" will get us in holes quick. Compound this be predictable run calls and plays essentially wasting a down. That's been most of the problem. Drive the field methodically using sidelines and whole field. Utilize intermittent play action and motion. Bills had a couple blown drives right before half where it was really a problem. That, IMO, is when we lost the game. Slow start is a catastrophic problem, and slow start versus the wrong team will kill us. This team has got to attack these bad starts on offense and D.
  2. Meh, Hags are not great. We are better nearly everywhere, including coaches. I like a lot of the matchups and feel the hawks are a sub . 500 team propped up by some woefully inept opponents. We may start slow again, but I don't see it here. More likely we roll.
  3. I don't see it that way. Hags are #1 passing team and near bottom in rushing. Very different schemes and feel from Baltimore. Their D is nowhere near Baltimore, against some weak offenses. Also Geno is still one of the most sacked QBs in the NFL. Baltimore and Buff are one of the better. Geno has been sacked a lot at home too. I don't think they will be an easy out but we match up pretty well w Seattle, especially given Metcalf absence. I guess Walker worries me, he's a good back. But we do our thing, we'll be fine.
  4. Nah he played vs ravens. Was announced the next day or two , salt in wound. He didn't play much though.
  5. The Jets problem is the GM's fault. Meddling owner as well.... Oline is the big problem. Brought in an immobile glass canon without an o-line to protect him. Same mistakes over and over from Jets. Similar to not having a competent line or backup QBs for Darnold and Zach. The Reddick deal was another terrible move. They have no clue how to team build.
  6. "tangled feet" yes tangled feet clearly tangled feet folks (ignore the blatant hand on hip)
  7. Brady way too reactionary w play calling. Our 2 min has become terrible and woefully predictable
  8. Playcalling killed us. At a minimum could have had a shot for 50 yd fg or so.
  9. Bad playcalling there after the Dalton 1st down woof to get no points there then touchback the punt .
  10. Imagine if we somehow got Wilson? I know it's fantasy, but Jets are so dumb. Honestly, in one to two years that team will be a 2-15 type team again.
  11. They blew off a real explanation last night. Seratore said " unless they think it was a tuck" then it would be a fumble. Aikman said something like yeah that's what I was thinking. And they mostly dropped it. I think your wrong. Plz cite. They just were insisting his arm was moving fwd w ball w intent to pass. If it fumbles during tuck its fumble.
  12. The motion has clearly passed the plane of a viable throw. It has begun to go down into a tuck, at which point it was jarred loose.
  13. Give credit to him there. The one on Allen was a bit iffy too.
  14. Btw Aikman and Buck were such homers to the bad night of calls. Maybe one time on the BS AJ roughing did Troy speak out.
  15. Yeah it was a bad call and should have been tuck.
  16. I grow to expect we are going to give up some yards earlier in games until we settle down. But this makes the fair weather fans lose their minds.
  17. I just want to point out that atrocious roughing call on AJ. Jets scored on that drive. Then you have hail Mary.... I actually thought the Bills played pretty damn good. Really solid to run on a good D.
  18. Strong case to say 8-2 headed into Chiefs game.
  19. Maybe sky is not falling?
  20. We may have found one in Davis boys.
  21. Great tough win. Sloppy crap but overall loved how boys played.
  22. I've heard this before....
  23. Bills have a good OL. A franchise QB. Several top weapons on offense. Our defense will improve when it gets healthy and we've won the division 5 years in a row. Let me also say, we have tons of draft capital and would still be fine for the future.
  24. I may kick tires on Thielan. He's had hammy issues as well but is more the vet sure handed guy we could use.
