Kaepernick is clearly top 64 QB provided he still gives a **** and is training by this point. He simply has a job in this league, and I'm actually astounded how banded together the owners are about this. Who wouldn't want to sack up and sign Kaepernick to the 3rd on depth chard purely to tell Jerry Jones he ain't leading your coaliion and can suck it. I mean going behind Jerry Jones's back is the best reason of all to saign Kaep. **** him off. Truly strange.. Even Shahid Khan for the Jags won't do it, PERFECT fit, and he's all about kneeling! Really wonder what's going on behind closed doors with these owners. But some aren't sacking up. Again, how can you not troll Jerry and instead choose to be in cahoots with him. Him and Dan Snyder are the WORST

Bell is flat out better than Conner, STAHP annointing him as the king runningback of the league. This isn't even a hot take. EVERY sports writer save for some Steelers beat writers are saying the same thing. A 3-4 time All-Pro 27 YO runningback isn't worse than a friggin guy with 8 starts in his career on one of the best offenses with 3 fumbles already. He's not on pace to crack Bell's yards from scrimmage last year. And he ain't even close to crack Bell's YFS when comparing their sophmore years: 2018 Connor: prorated out for 1279/659/3/1938/16 RUSH/REC/FUM/YFS/TDs 2017 Bell: 1291/655/2/1946/11 RUSH/REC/FUM/YFS/TDs so what proof is Conner better than Bell. He's arguably just as good (and a weak argument) Bell's sophomore year (same experience as Connor's right now): 1361/854/0/2215/11 RUSH/REC/FUM/YFS/TDs. He annaihlated Conner's stats that year with a worse supporting cast than Connor has now. He's better. He's better. He's better. A better question is, is he close talent-wise? Sure? Likely not.. Could be close. Let's see how the year plays out and how next year breaks out. 8 starts doesn't mean jack, it didn't for Bell when he started, he had to finish out the year (pretty good) and absolutely eclipse that number the next year. And.. WHO CARES. Conner's a Steeler for the near future and Bell is FA. Conner playing well has NOTHING to do with Bell's ability. Bell crushed it with the Steelers, Conner's exceeding expectations with a promising future. He's simply not better. He's playing pretty well on a stacked offense. Bell had better numbers before the Steelers O Line went from mediocre to elite. And better numbers when comparing similar teams this year to Bell's last year (and the Steelers ARE BETTER now simply with a more experienced JuJu and yet another year of elite O Line chemistry building. And if 27 is the new year of rapid decline for RBs, wow.. well I don't know about that! If we don't want to pay big money to an RB with Shady on the roster and are concerned about Bell's attitude after getting a contract these are fair points. The "BELL SUCKS BECAUSE CONNER IS GOOD" makes noooooooooooo sense though. Bell's great, Connor's had a good 3/4 of a season, maybe we don't want to spend money on him. Personally I would, but I understand the more rational points. Anybody bringing up Conner as "proof" is being ridiculous. Edjerrin James didn't skip a beat on the Colts offense when they shipped off Faulk to Rams. Never was indicative that Edjerrin is better than Faulk. They were both good. AND FAULK WAS BETTER. Turns out the Steelers and the Colts drafted very good running backs to replace their running back superstars. Makes absolutely no difference to the superstars leaving for another team. anybody saying Bell "isn't any good".. I'll just say that's a poor opinion. I could see him landing on the Colts. Fun team to be had there!

Was Baker Mayfield a DOUCHE Yesterday?
Bing Bong replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lmao wow Tech is dumb as dirt! It's all good. Hue got fired haha so long as Baker recognizes that by his own definition they're both ***holes i guess. He's the perfect guy for the Browns, a walk on player from no where on a walk on NFL team. And he bleeds Browns and gives us a fun story to talk about. All the while backing up his hype and moxy on the field. Loved him during the Kansas game... **** Kansas. -
Josh Allen Nominated for Angry Runs

God bless him. He was so good in Sunday. Keep it up JA! Threw probably the best passes I've seen from a Bill (I started fandom MCM season). -

I mean I don't have a lower opinion of him or anything. He is THE guy in the NFL that's gonna be doing this stuff.. not surprised. In a way it's petty, in a way it's cool he already apparently hates the Bengals this much, in a way it's cool he'll provide fun stories like this, and most importantly it's super funny and hypocritical from him transferring to OU in the Big 12 haha. -
I really don't think the lockerroom gives a **** about their draft position. Pretty sure Allen wants to kick *** now and assume his GM is a good drafter to build him a better roster. Any player worried about ruining draft position isn't doing their job: to compete on Sundays and impress the FO rather than losing their jobs to a high draft pick because they're purposefully sucking for no benefit of their own. Allen tanks to 0-16 for THE PROCESS and gets a #1 overall QB drafted over him. He ain't a loser.. wants to win football games and let the Eggheads upstairs deal with the mess he's wreaking what with winning and all. Of course it carries over! What SB winning team ever said they weren't excited and confident their winning year after seeing themselves turn the jets on and learn how they can beat up NFL teams the year prior. What are they gonna to forget how they win games? Falling just short makes you hungrier you squandered a year with poor play to begin the season and hopeful your second half finish from the last year is what your team is actually capable of. Bills teams Virtually always either suck all year or start out hot and Peter out. Let's see what a good second half of the season means for once.

Yeah.. acts like he didn't transfer from Tech to Oklahoma. You da turncoat Baker. Hue got fired and took a job! You dumped the Big12 team that launched your career for a better program to **** on your old team for.. Baker reasons. -
Into 2020's cap??? That like.. defeats the purpose of a salary cap. I ain't arguing but I find that weird. I knew 2018 or 2019 was supposed increase the cap leaguewide but if you can rollover to kingdom come you can just buy every FA in sight in a good year and sign all your talent into long term deals... There's gotta be a catch or mitigator.

NOOOOOOO draft and sign receivers and see how he looks when he's not the only pass catcher on the team that belongs in the NFL. He's our #1 now but that's because we got receivers that shouldn't even be #5 emergency depth guys. We'll know a lot more about Foster when he has real receivers with him. Until then good god we can't just Pat ourselves in the back and act like we just found ourselves an All-Pro WR and consider that position settled. It's the worst unit in the league.

That's true. And I haven't really watched Darnold's best football. He just throws so many interceptions. Yuck. A lot of neutral fans, heck Jets fans I know are preferring Allen to date. I can't really speculate on what I see from them in the future but a rookie JA limiting his picks and not playing checkdown ball is exciting. Also I don't respect Fisher with Quarterbacks for ****. By that measure we could probably say the same for Todd Bowls.. idk if Trubiskie was really pegged as all that bad IIRC, he was just a little spastic really. Still is but it's pretty fascinating to watch. Idk if it's nerves or what but he has the fastest 5-7 step drop I see on TV and still looks pretty goofy. Fun to watch and a fantastic fantasy QB!

I mean I'd rather have Baker than Allen, wouldn't really care how he fits on this crap supporting offense. More when they're given weapons. That said, so far this season, it's clearly 1. Baker (Brees) 2. Allen (Favre) 3. Lamar (Vick) 4. Darnold (... Eli) 5. Rosen (Chad Pennington??) And the level of play between all of them is huge. Don't know why this is even a question, Darnold looks like bust city. I'd much rather discuss Baker vs Allen. Allen certainly showed why he's hyped up with such a high ceiling last week. Looks like a Brees clone (Baker) vs a Favre clone (Allen).

Oof if McDermott is about team and Bell is about Bell, that means Bell's off the table? is McDermott about winning?? Because Bell is about that, and the team *should be about that. He just had to make sure he got some contract security in FA. Hasn't been a lockerroom issue before this year and now he's the board's villain We hate runningbacks for some reason here.. but we suck at the skill positions. Skill position guys tend to be primadonnas. McDermott is going to have a hard time giving Allen talent if he's going to be so selective. If we offered McDermott Bell, ODB, and DJax and he passed.. yeesh man he's not cut out for managing this new generation of talent.

Leonard Fournette suspended one game

He's a jaguar. We hate. Jaguars. -
We need to spend money. We have 90 million. Would you rather go into the season with 17M going nowhere (it don't rollover) or have it go to Bell to do friggin punt returns at the very least.. why the heck not. Hoarding cap salary isn't smart unless it's timed for upcoming major re-signing moves. And he's 26 going on 27 lol
-
Dude it's going to be so damn hard to spend money.. like name me all the likely top FAs. It's hella dumb to go into the season 50M under the CAP like we're choosing to be a poor team in a baseball league instead of having the same New York Yankees payroll anybody else has. Like who cares if we tie up a 3 year insane salary for a punter if we end up with too much money to even spend next few years. If we're at that point give Bell a 2 year 50M guaranteed contract. Spend as much money as possible so long as we're mindful of upcoming re-signings when considering contract length. We got 90M to spend on this lot: all DTs and LBs. Bell is the only offensive player, and other teams are in similar positions. Free agency is going to. Suck... Overpay for Bell lol why on Earth not.

Edmunds...he deserves some love too
Bing Bong replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's worrisome was his lack of aggressiveness for a MLB. People are pointing out he's got the athleticism but not the "instincts".. Avoiding contact is not an instinct you get over, so I hope he's simply learning when and where to be on the field and not shying from contact on plays. It was just one game and I've seen him play more aggressively, but he did NOT want a piece of Fournette last week.
