Turning our KC Pick into a top 5 pick?
Lfod replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think many people said it was historic. Nate's is historic!!! -
It doesn't bother me. I do agree that it's kinda pointless on a good play that doesn't really effect the outcome. Like you just make a game changing play that brought your team from losing to winning. Then it looks good. When you make a good play but your team's still down by multiple scores it kinda looks dopey to celebrate like you just won the game. I think it comes down to time and place to celebrate. So I halfway agree with the op. I think celebration can be over done and misplaced but I'm not against it.

Is anyone here really a Tyrod fan?
Lfod replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have mixed feelings about Tyrod. I'm neutral on him. I've cheered his good plays and I grumbled at the lack of production on offense in games. I agree with points on both sides of the great Tyrod debate. I do see value in him. He offers some stability to a very unstable environment. I want him to over come his hurdles and silence his doubters. Sadly he was unable to really take that next step this year. Although I wouldn't put the blame all on him for all his struggles. I think outside factors attribute to that as well. I'll always wonder the real Truth about Tyrod when he leaves the building for the last time. How much was the lack of offensive production was him compared to those around him. Im starting to think it was the people around him bringing him down. I'm a fan of Tyrod. Even after he leaves the team I'll keep an eye out to see if he ever does overcome those hurtles and silence his doubters. I'm just a bigger fan of the Bills so I want the entire team to be competitive in every game and if that takes moving on then I understand but don't necessarily agree. -
Belichick doesn't allow team celebrations
Lfod replied to T-Bomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well sure Belichick has much more of a foundation and track record to stand on. He can make bad moves without being questioned. I don't think he can do any blatant racist thing and not have consequences at this moment in time. I think when you win you have more power. Each ring he owns gives him more power and respect and he always wants more. A true lord of the rings. I do think making it a racial issue was in poor taste because it would take a lot of stretching to come to a conclusion that it was based on race at all. -

What I can't figure out is what's really bothering you. The agenda behind the post. I'm split between two things. You are riled up about the current climate with race relations or if your just mad because we have team celebrations when the big boy of the NFL doesn't allow it and you wish coach would tighten up. -

Not to mention Bill Belichick walks on water after winning so much and it's part of the reason he can command so much control -

It's only racist if he doesn't allow the celebration from only a certain race of player. At this point and time everything is racist. -
Why Taylor can't be the QB longterm---perfect example today
Lfod replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My only point is that he works with what he has and that has been almost good enough for a sniff of the playoffs. A few games roll his way past two years and boom now he's everyones hero. I'm open minded to criticism of him but just wish people could see he's keeping it interesting with so many things to factor in. -

I'd say one of that elite was still rookie and injured. -

I'd say he was a few games short of a playoffs with that cast. I don't know if you call it stacked with elite. -

I never had a chance to see Tyrod play in an offence stacked with elite talent. I don't think Tyrod should always shoulder all the blame. I think there are times he can take something that is average and make it work sometimes and hate all you want but that's special. I think the hate for Tyrod is over the top. I even agree with some criticism of him but he's making something not good enough into almost good. Tyrod can be a franchise quarterback. -
All the calls should come from guys in a booth with every angle of the game and have to provide video evidence for each call. We have the technology. I didn't see it but the announcers mentioned it was a phantom call.

I would say the Bills are a team that had a hot start and then fell off a cliff. We have a new regime that came in and made a lot of moves. I figure whatever we have now that is excellent will be used in building tword the future. We made some moves that hurt the team now for potential in the future. I figure all will reveal itself in time. If they can take an average roster to a hot start like that maybe they can build a winner when they use that draft ammo. Obviously bad happened this season. A borderline playoff team fell short again. It's not wrong to say this team has flaws just don't forget the bright spots.

Official fire Rick Dennison thread
Lfod replied to Buffalo Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes at this point I would fire him. The philosophy should be to score points. To be aggressive the entire game and be champions. I just don't thinking hanging around letting other teams get extra repeated chances with the football is a recipe to win. In a game like a few others the Bills had a chance to really beat down the opponent and missed opportunity happened. The Chiefs should of never been given the ball back with time in the end. If you can't bleed clock with the run you take shots with you quarterback that never turns the ball over. It is pathetic to run shady into a wall for no gains. You fire who ever would settle for that when the game is on the line. I could accept taking shots and not connecting. It would of wasted more time then the stuffed runs. -

I think with Tyrod you need to let him fire off the ball in that situation. Chances are he won't turn it over. If you can't bleed clock with the run take shots. Tyrod will connect sometimes. I'd rather him get the chance and not connect then stuffed runs -

I don't like if they have any kind of a lead they let off the gas. 3 stuffed runs on that last offensive possession is suspect. -

I just hope moving forward if the team has a chance to bleed clock that should be a priority. That should be a focus. If you are going to run and get stuffed anyway then I say be more aggressive and take shots. -

I still think that was a wasted possession that gave KC a chance to come back. -

I don't like the idea of playing just to hang in and not taking more shots. Wasted posestion of the ball. -

That was all bad. Why not take shots. You wasted no time anyway. -
