Like others have said I see 18 games being played. Me personally, Ima 16 game purist, but if 18 ends up happening they better have like a 75 player roster, cause guys are gonna be fubar'd after that many games.
How crazy would it be if Darnold followed similar path like Trubiski and backed up Josh for a year in a "reclamation" type move next season? I could actually see it happen, though not likely, but possible.
That's all he can do. I'm almost anti DB as BillInNYC but both these guys would be fantastic picks if a miracle somehow happened. Both guys are top 15 players imo.
Me either, but I'm hoping a pocket collapsing 1tech and a big nickle found on day 2 in the draft then that would be a couple steps in the right direction.
I think you can usually wait till round 3 or later on NTs unless they have huge upside in the passrush department. I personally am on the Slaton or Shelvin train with our 3rd rounder. I might even consider moving up a little for Slaton as I believe he can also push the pocket enough to cause the QB some problems.
If it looks like Obada's gonna work out they could extend him by the deadine (week 6 to 8ish?). If he has a solid full season, them pass rushers get PAID.
This is a signing that has nothing but upside. Totally for this instead of an old ass Kerrigan/Addison type. Oh, and guess what? This guy would of led the Bills in sacks last year.
Addison and Hughes are both RDE players primilarily....unless one gets the axe, look for a guy who has strong side ability to be added..........Dunlap fool!!! lol
So true. Shaq Mason single blocks him all day very effectively which when NE commits to the run they always hammer us. I've said it before a young 1tech is just as important of a draft pick as edge rusher this draft. I like the Florida and LSU prospects best so far. Slaton could really be a monster imo.
I think finding a rookie 1tech who can collapse the pocket is just as important as finding an edge rusher. Pressure up the middle makes the greatest QBs of all time look average or even have bad games.
