The Bills were high bidders for Waddle, tried acquiring Williams
Dafan replied to babulator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm wondering if the 2026 1st round pick was tied up in the offer for Williams? -
I wonder how much having Hairston cover Worthy helped?

Are the Bills bringing back some old school tactics?
Dafan replied to blacklabel's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook ran 17 times at an average of 5.17 yards per carry. I'd hardly call that shutting him down. Our D is what cost us. Robinson ran for 170 yards at 8.9 ypc. Then added almost 70 yards through the air. That is what cost us. Well that and 4 sacks on Allen with 2 ints. -
Comparing Eric Moulds first couple of years to Coleman is stupid. Moulds came on to the Bills with Andre Reed, Steve Tasker and Jay Riemersma, plus others. Moulds wasn't expecting to be the "guy", when he came here. And that was the WR/TE grouping for a few years. Moulds was WR4/5 for multiple years.

That is a big reason I'm not upset about Gabe coming back. Next to Reed, I think he has been one of our best blocking WRs in years.

That's why I want Ridley....averaging 18.1 yards per catch I believe.
-
Id rather Calvin Ridley over Deebo.

Did losing to the Falcons save the Bills season?
Dafan replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It reminds me of the loss to the Cardinals a few years ago that woke the Bills up. -
I think Bosa was a lil confused lol. He was totally unblocked. He could have just totally chased down Kermit and slammed him like Miss Piggy. Then all of a sudden stops and starts running back. Totally think he was dumbfounded by not being blocked whatsoever, and thought it was a ***** up and vacated.

Ok...I admit...lots of Fireball during this game lol.
-
Ok, we know who Allen is. Trying to give props to the defensive player (wh9 many ppl bitched about previously) whom I thought deserved the game Ball.
-
If Bishop doesn't defend just one of those break-ups...its a totally different game!
-
Split that on Max and Bosa!

Why a Dumb and Dumber gif?

As much as people have ripped on Bishop. He's got the Game Ball for me!!!

As much as ppl complain about Gabe...he averaged per year 61 receptions at 16.8 yards per reception. And just under 9 tds per year. Who else other than Diggs has been near those numbers?
-
Might have been wrong way, but at least he was open lol. He was already signed (to practice squad) weeks ago. Was just on IR.
-
Well do we know Groot lined up offside? Lol. They didn't show any replays of like the first 3 Bills penalties.
-
I agree to an extent...we need a true WR1. But to pull Cook on third/forth and short and try to pull gimmick plays is stupid. In the second half, Cook was averaging 7 yards per carry....wtf is he not on the field. Even if you decide to give the ball to someone else.
-
After halftime, our D and special teams stepped up huge. Our offense is what fell apart. Why the F did we constantly pull Cook out on 3rd and 4th downs that were huge. Specially given the added injuries of Benford and Benard in the second half, I can't blame the D. And when will we stop with the stupid jet sweeps with knox and Moore that both lead to fumbles. Brady is over thinking it...stick with what frigging works.
-
We beat the Ravens with pretty much all of their starters in. Likely was the only big name I recall not playing. Lamar plays last 2 weeks, they probably win. I dont downplay the Bills beating the Ravens. Bills need to frigging get healthy...our D isn't lights out when healthy. But we can easily survive with our Offense. But with injuries we have, it makes it so much harder to compensate.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Dafan replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree with spot foul. If I'm a DB and a WR has me beat over 15 yards, I'd definitely foul him if he's only going to get 15 yards. -

He was amazing. But back then, they (DBs), had so much more leeway. WRs nowadays are very protected compared to old. Plus pass interference is call so much more now. Mind you, WRs also get called for push offs a lot more now as well...when they wouldn't back then.
