  1. I'm starting to think that all these guys we are talking about go to camp. Hopefully no injuries but you never know so there is that to consider. By cut down day the new guys will have been evaluated. Addison could easily be the odd man out especially with a post 1 June cut splitting some of his dead money. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/mario-addison-8871/
  2. I seen you already got the FA option to your post. I was totally wrong too. I would of bet that a CB would of been taken in the first 3 rounds. Along with the FA option all I got left is that they found Dane Jackson in the 6th last year and maybe they can repeat with a 5th rounder tomorrow.
  3. Just a comment on the Spencer Brown v Daryl Williams and his contract. Williams contract is essentially a 2 year deal. In 2023 (his last year) he has a $1.8M Dead Cap hit (actually has only a $3.6M in 2022). His leftover contract for the 2023 year is $7M. If healthy he is an easy trade at 31 years of age. Not saying that is how it will pan out but it is worth considering.
  4. Josh and Spencer are some country boys and you know they will throw the ball around some in practice. If Spencer can catch Josh's passes you know they will put in plays for him.
  5. Tide is going back out. Bills trade Addison and Obada back to the Panthers!
  6. I swear I said "Watch the Texans pick a QB". LOL. WTF.
  7. I totally agree and hope that's what Beane does. I guess my point was IF he is going to a 5th is the most I would want him to give up.
  8. If Beane has a guy coming towards him and wants to give up a 5th to move up a couple in the 2nd or 4-5 spots in the 3rd fine. Anything more in this weird draft is a big No for me.
  9. Thanks. I watched the clips and agree with what you said and I can agree with Collinsworth. It seems to me he needs training both physically and position wise. He is going to get that. The rest will up to him. I am very hopeful he ends up being a hit!
  10. I feel the same way. Just thinking out loud, how many DL do we expect Beane/McDermott to keep? Adding 2 puts them in the 10 category unless Johnson is cut (slight chance he would take a PS spot) and/or Butler/Phillips cut. I'm thinking the most they keep on the 53 is 9 (is that wrong)?
  11. So I just want to comment on our 1st round pick after some of the dust settled and formulate my synopsis. 1. He needs to add some muscle and work on his agility. 2. He probably will be brought around slow in the 1st half of the season. 3. He has played other positions so his time as a DL is limited. (14 games in 2 seasons). 4. First impression is he could easily be a "process" guy. 5. Has a high ceiling and unusual physical skills but will take time to get there (if he ever does). 6. Seems that if he doesn't improve where needed his floor could be a little lower than you would want from a 1st round pick. 7. He will most likely have to start performing well in the 2022 season. I get other fans wanting Beane to draft another player (me included) but it is a need position so I'm OK with that. It seems to me nobody can say how this will pan out for at least a year. I can be patient. On to the 2nd round! Kind of hoping a CB is there.
  12. Ignore list is your friend. It's no shame if posters won't listen. I got 3 new ignores just tonight.
  13. Is the Chargers board mad because they went to commercial?
  14. Yes, he can make the difference of Denver being 4th in the division to 3rd.
  15. Julio. As good as Pitts is he won't be enough for ATL to win their division.
  16. Pitts is going to spend his rookie contract between Ryan/Jones and a rebuild. I kind of feel sorry for him.
