Piece of cake. Beane trades back in the 6th from pick #177 for the Chargers pick #181 plus #256.

The Browns have 4 6th round picks and the 2nd to last pick in the 7th. They move up into the 5th (which they currently didn't have). They have to be thinking that no way are 5 6th and 7th rounders making the team.

Our coach in high school only asked we follow 2 rules. 1. Learn to follow simple instructions. 2. Be responsible for your actions. Many couldn't and had to learn the hard way!

It is. I was hoping for a little less guarantee just in case he can't hold up during camp and has to be let go. I know Tre will work hard to get back some of his skills and the extra time further from the injuries may help a lot. I'm not expecting him to be a starter, but he could be good depth and maybe see time at dime.

Well, it seems that Cook is adamant about $15M per year (and we don't know how much he expects in guarantees or years) and Beane is probably at his "market value" which is $10.2M. I'm betting neither is going to move off those numbers unless the other does too. I'm thinking Cook is wanting a 4 year $60M contract. Probably wanting $35M+ in guarantees. I wouldn't be shocked if Beane thinks that is way too much. What happens is still unknown, but the best Beane can expect is Cook plays out his contract and the Bills get a comp pick in 2027 if he doesn't back up in his demands. I'm sad they can't get this done. I really would like Cook to be a Bills for the next 3 years. Unfortunately, with the social media stuff, the home up for sale and the no-show for the voluntary OTAs makes this going forward all on James. He either backs up some or moves it on down the line.
