Burrow NOT playing Sunday - per Burrow
ColoradoBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
You do realize that it's a 50/50 shot the Colts end up with the #6 seed even with a win Sunday. If the Chargers win they are #6, if the Raiders win they are #7. -
Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
ColoradoBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL. I'm going with one team is 11 points above the mean per game and one is 11 under. I'm going with the Bills by 22. I NEVER post in game prediction threads but this is math and I'm all down with it! Go Bills. -

I just noticed that the Bills have a +177 point differential and the Jets have a -177 point differential. -
Diggs - bonus for 6 more catches - extension ?
ColoradoBills replied to First Round Bust's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs cap hit is over $17M for the next 2 years. When he signs an extension it will be for over $20M per. The Bills already got a lot of cap relief in his last 2 seasons. 2 years for a total of $21M. Big cap hits are inevitable with the exception of the year he signs the extension (2022 or 2023). I think whenever him and the team decides to pull the trigger on the extension is fine with me cuz he ain't going nowhere. -

Thanks ALF you saved me having to go dig it up and post it. These $'s are a good start. Josh signed a 6 year extension at $43M per year. As much of a "pickle" that the Ravens and Browns are in the same can be said about the players. I will start with Jackson. He is the poster child of a new type of QB. The question is will teams and agents treat him like other more "typical" QB or will his unique style and play equate to a different type of contract. $40M sounds reasonable BUT is 5 years in length right for the team? One could ponder that his "athleticism" could have a huge drop off and his worth as a QB drop accordingly 3-4 years from now. I think a 5 year contract extension is risky for the team. A 4 year contract with an out after 3 seems fair but will Lamar and his mother see it that way? I don't think they will and that could cause a stalemate that brings in a Franchise Tag in 2023. Baker IMO is destined to play out his 5th year and unless he is willing to sign a much cheaper 4 year contract ($30M like Spotrac sites) he risks the Browns moving on or giving a Franchise Tag at best. Baker is a fool not to take whatever reasonable contract offered him or he risks becoming irrelevant much quicker than he thinks ala Trubisky. It will be a huge year for him to show his worth.

I smile every time I hear Renegade now.

Don't you think that if his injury reduces his play then he should not be playing? They are paying Case Keenum big money as a backup. It's their choice for this and all it's doing is pissing their fans off more LOL.

'member when the majority of this board was petrified of these 2 teams after the first few weeks?

Yes but extremely slim odds. EXTREMELY.

Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!
ColoradoBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Those are for the season. -
Agree. It was mentioned up thread about his decisions on fair catches. He needs to improve on that but that comes with reps and coaching. If he has a good week of practice, he should get another shot in the Jets game. He seems aggressive/fearless and you can't teach that. Just a general note. It's a good thing a lot of these posters were not around Andre Roberts his first few years. He wasn't an "All Pro" right out of the blocks. In fact, he lost his returner duties on both of his first 2 teams.

ColoradoBills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had to go check that out and you are almost right. Knox and Levy, both Saban stints were 4 and 4 1/2. Wow that is incredible! -
Sorry there is no MNF.
-
Um all of next weeks games are on Sunday.
-
Well that Chargers TD seals the season fate of the Browns, Dolphins and Broncos.

Week 17 Gameday Bills vs Falcons Postgame Thread -PLAYOFFS!
ColoradoBills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, with a Bills win. -
I live in Colorado, so yes, I know the Broncos and how much of long shot it is. THUS the "hear me out" which is code on this board for something crazy to follow.
-
I said "hear me out".
-
Bengals have clinched the AFCN.
-
OK Hear me out! LOL. Bills beat Jets and win division next week! Browns at home beat Bengals. Broncos at home beat Chiefs (afternoon game and if Titans beat Jaguars and clinch bye in early game)? All would mean Bills as 2nd seed.
