  1. I hope you saved a foot or two for luck.
  2. On one of the old NFL Films about the AFL Bills some opposing players talk about this Visitors' Locker room. One player said there was just long boards with nails pounded half in to hang your stuff on. LOL.
  3. Where was he playing position wise.
  4. I guess he probably is a little bit overpaid. He seems to be able to fill in almost anywhere in the backfield but isn't better than more specialized players. He is very good on STs.
  5. I agree any time the team trades away a good player. We just might as well get used to the fact that Dane goes for a 7th round pick. What I mentioned is that IF a CB was traded, he makes the most sense. Unfortunately, I don't see a way he stays next season due to the other CBs and what his cost will be. He will be missed!
  6. I mentioned this a couple of days ago. If a corner is traded it makes sense to dangle Dane Jackson for a player or a pick. Dane is an RFA who if the Bills put a 7th round tender on would surely get offer sheets. If they put a 2nd round tender for $4.3M, there probably wouldn't be an offer so he would play for that money. The question is if he ends up being depth that's a lot to spend. I have to think a playoff hopeful team who needs a starting CB would be interested in Dane for a lot more than a 7th. Of course, that means all the other CBs are healthy with Rhodes coming back soon too.
  7. That's a beautiful thing to see! Fasten your seatbelts Bills fans.
  8. I have to believe that they wouldn't have activated the window unless they were sure he's ready.
  9. I have to be honest. The only thing I want to know is today's injury report. Fingers crossed for Poyer, Edmunds and Knox and for no new names to pop up.
  10. I remember when Bills fan on this board lamented not having Wentz.
  11. Now teams are getting some tape on him. One stat I noticed in his college and NFL games is he is not a runner at all. He's not that tall either. Good D's will start to figure him out if he can't keep improving himself. Let's see how he plays on the road against Cleveland.
  12. While I'm speculating, I would think the term "limited" has different levels of how much actual work a player does. As to the question of not practicing at all or doing limited work, I have to leave it to the experts in the training room.
  13. Looks like Poyer, Edmunds and Knox are the big concerns for tomorrow's practice. Hope Cam Lewis is just cautionary and is back to full tomorrow. Not counting on Benford and Phillips at all.
  14. I don't think there is worry about any starter playing a couple of plays as a gunner. They will go down the depth chart and whoever's names are there will do it.
  15. My guess it's two of the following. Neal J. Johnson Hamlin Lewis
  16. I'm not sure, thus my statement. Remember both Kumerow and Jones are indispensable on special teams, or so it's been said. To be honest, it was a half joke.
  17. The good news is the surgery went well. Also, it's good that the Bills should get a decent report how his recovery is going by the draft. Micah will start out the summer on PUP and with a little luck be back, good to go, for camp. Neck surgeries are unique to everyone. For all saying he never plays again, all I'll say is I have a brother that had spine fusion 50 years ago. He has never had an issue with it. We will find out in the spring or early summer how Hyde is doing.
  18. Great interview. I like this young guy a lot. Glad he's here!
  19. For sure, Tre is going nowhere. This is how I could see things going. Next year the Bills have signed contracts at CB of: White ($15.6M) T Johnson ($9.25M) Elam ($3.1M) Benford ($1M - Moving to SS?) Neal ($3.3M) (Primary Depth) Contracts signed for S: Hyde ($10.8M - Let's hope he's back 100%) Hamlin ($1M) Add in a few PS DB guys that sign Reserve/Futures contracts. Poyer - UFA (He walks unfortunately) Jackson - RFA (If Bills want to keep him it's a $4.3M 2nd Round Tender or they let him go for a 7th round tender) If anyone got traded at deadline it's Dane for maybe as much as a 5th if their plans are not to keep him. Lewis - RFA (won't get tendered-hoping he signs back and comes to camp) J Johnson - UFA (test FA market - going to want $2M+. Maybe resigned for depth) I see a 5th round (Bills have 2, ARZ for Cody Ford) for a Safety and another 6th or 7th going on CB.
  20. We will see how the backup gunners play this week. I expect the Chiefs to punt at least 5 times. Just a note about availability. Jones is in his 5th season with Bills and has had only 1 injury free year.
