  1. Did you two just have a breakthrough? ?
  2. They won't get lost in the woods.
  3. Okay...after seeing those pee green, mountain dew uniforms of the hawks, I'm definitely rooting for the Rams.
  4. After some of the vitriol and venom spewed on this board of late, I think we were ready for a departure.
  5. Just want to see a good game so I don't have to switch to Temple vs East Carolina.
  6. Two spleens walk into a bar.....
  7. Hey...when you're a Jet, you're a jet all the way....
  8. Lucy....you've got some spleening to do! (I know it's horrible, but it just popped in my head.)
  9. I can see this. It was my greatest flaw as a CEO. It's not so much player evaluation as it is seeing how good they could be, and wanting to give them every opportunity. You try your best to coach them up, and in the end, sometimes it works and sometimes they can't get out of their own way and keep making the same mistakes. I'm all for redemption. Who among us has never needed it? Zay, if he hasn't already worn out their patience, he has to be damn close.
  10. That's a valid opinion as well. I have no issues with it.
  11. The Madden curse????!!!! Nah...the guys just certifiable.
  12. I don't think anyone can disagree with this, irrespective of their opinion on Green. They will though...because it's the way things are on this forum.
  13. I remember that game. It was in the mid 90's. Both QBs were terrible. Weren't there 3 or 4 ex Bills playing for the Panthers?
  14. Boy ain't that the truth! Thanks for the warning!
  15. Good post. As much as we revere, Jim Kelly, he did have some horrid games at the worst possible times. A couple super bowls as I recall.
  16. For those of you who have fantasy matchups implicated in this game...good luck to you all. Having said that...I'll root for a good game and for the Rams to prevail. They need a good bounce back game after the egg they laid last week.
  17. Okay. I apologize if I missed an earlier post. This thread is 49 pages long. I expect I've missed a few. But will you please get off of this "crusade" thing. No one is crusading. We all want Josh to start and hope that he does. We are not part of the decision though so it doesn't matter what we think.
  18. Good point. Bates can play any position on the line. I actually liked him better than Connor.
  19. Likely. Didn't we pick him up after they released him a few years ago?
  20. If they bring up Webb, it doesn't look good for Josh. On the other hand, I think we're all hoping for a WR move of some kind.
  21. Which is why Whaley is no longer here...or anywhere for that matter.
  22. In truth...if Josh plays...I'm going to be holding my breath if he does take off and run. Vrabel uses the same "playbook" on defense as Belichick. Wouldn't surprise me if they try to knock Josh out again, especially since there were no consequences to the defensive player last Sunday.
  23. Yes...and you are correct that Josh is taking first snaps in the drills. Apparently, drills do involve running plays which would make sense when you think about it, especially for oline and dline. When I think of drills, I think of them just tossing the ball around, but there is more to it than that.
