  1. I'm glad you clarified who's playing. In the pregame, they spent at least 10 minutes talking about the Patriots. Mind you, they were not showing highlights, talking about teams in general. Just about how gloriously wonderful the Pats are.
  2. Teams, including the Pats and Chiefs will separate, but only because a boatload of them are rushing to the bottom.
  3. My comment was in response to what Shrager said. You're the one that's editing it. Having said that, I would agree with your opinion on the Pats. However, I would disagree regarding the Chiefs. The Chiefs D could not stop the run to save their lives. The Colts only needed 19 points to beat them. KC was incapable of putting up points at will. They managed only 13 on the night, playing against a decimated Colts defense, BTW. That's why the game was so shocking. We're talking here about the way teams are built. You are right, the Bills would lose in a shootout. They're not built for that. They are built with the defense as the stronger side, so that the likelihood of a shootout is diminished. I will give you, though, that their offense is below average at present. KC is built with the offense as the strong suit, but they can be stymied as seen last night. The Pats, are incredibly balanced. They are also not built for a shootout, per se. They also don't beat themselves. They're capable of beating you with coaching.
  4. But that was his point. That is what he said...that these two teams can put up a boatload of points at any time. Clearly, they have done so in 4 of their 5 games this year. However, the Pats did not do that against the Bills and KC didn't do that against the Colts last night. The Bills Offense needs to improve, no argument there. However, with this D, they don't need to be high scoring. The Chiefs, on the other hand, without the semblance of a defense, needs their offense to score. They lost yesterday, and they almost lost to Detroit the week prior. Patriots don't need to score much with their D and granted they've been beating up on some really poor teams. I'd prefer the Bills offense get to that point. Pats have been doing it for years, though, with that offense. The Bills only have 4 return starters on this O, so it is still very much a work in progress.
  5. I agree. I'm suggesting that if someone offers him much more than that, they may regret it later.
  6. I think it's telling that at that time, besides Feliciano being at center (he was there since the second quarter, I believe) Bates was in at RT and Long was in at guard. I think Cody Ford needs to sit a bit. Definitely they need to end the RT experiment for now.
  7. I don't think he'd get much more than that from another team. Plus, he's excelling in this front seven. If you pay him big bucks to be "THE GUY", I think he becomes just another guy.
  8. He went out of the game yesterday with cramps and even his backup ripped off a 59 yard run for a TD! Speed kills!
  9. I think having Christian McCaffrey doesn't hurt.
  10. I don't get Shrager's comment that "Those two teams (KC and Pats) can put up points at such a crazy pace when they have to..." Guess KC didn't have to yesterday???
  11. Exactly. If we take care of business, the rest doesn't matter.
  12. This is so obvious.
  13. Reich should win this challenge.
  14. Who do you think takes that division? Nevermind. Forgot about Houston.
  15. Fair take. This is why I'm thinking it appears that both KC and the Bills made successful choices.
  16. Collingsworth is hoping. He's a Brady and now Mahomes apologist.
  17. You're right about Bojo needing finesse, but after last week I'm thankful he was getting his kicks off cleanly. I think that's exactly what Lorax was thinking.
  18. Excellent write up. I do think on the INT that Allen was expecting Yeldon to continue his route across the field. He stopped but the defender didn't, allowing him to make the catch. Still ill-advised throw, though as too many receivers and defenders in the same area.
  19. Probably not. (I think you made an excellent point here.)
  20. I thought so, too.
  21. You're right. I just posed the question because it appears that both KC and the Bill's made successful choices. (At least it appears so at the moment. )
  22. Okay. I get where you're coming from. We can only hope.
  23. Fair point. Tre was a big piece...a start if you will. This also presumes Ramsey's truly on the trading block.
  24. Okay. No argument.
  25. Not sure what your point is. That was part of the premise of the question, because the Bills didn't choose Mahomes.
