Lets take a breath here and look at this more logically...

McD wouldn't comment on the NFL handling of this game in yesterday's presser after that question was asked, but you could tell he did not appreciate the way the Bills were handled in this matter by the league. He won't use it as an excuse...but it had to have an impact. -

There is one major change. We are missing Star. His absence is hampering the scheme as well as contributing to the regression of Edmunds and Oliver. Star didn't make flashy plays but he tied up blockers and kept them away from the LBs. -

McD was asked in the presser postgame about the league decision and the timing. Although he offered no excuses, it was obvious that he was not pleased with how the league handled this. He refused to comment on it but his facial expression spoke volumes. -

Actually the O responded by going down the field for the TD. Then we gave up a huge return. When we had an opportunity to close the gap in the 3rd qtr, Josh got greedy (he said that in the presser) and threw the INT. -
McD's scheme depends on having that huge space-pig (as my brother likes to call them) to tie up blockers an allow the rest of the line and linebackers to penetrate more freely and make plays. That helps the secondary. When Star opted out, that impacted the scheme and the individual players severely. Would Edmunds and Oliver have regressed this badly if Star were playing?

All those premium picks on defense...

Don't forget. In addition to missing Milano, Tre and Wallace, we're also missing Star. Beane said that Star helps the line backers by tying up defenders allowing the MLB especially to make plays. It's no wonder our front seven especially looks ordinary this year. That has then put more pressure on our secondary. -

With Brown out, I was surprised they didn't bring up a PS WR (like Duke). But...they have McKenzie and Kroft and Knox, so they obviously have a plan. -

Hope Andre Roberts takes the opening kick off and socially distances himself from the entire Titans team! -

Totally okay, DMc. I actually missed the knee thing as well with John Brown. This week was stranger than most in keeping up with the team. Go Bills! -

It would be nice for the Bills to find their pass rush today and give Tannehill fits. -

I don't buy that players suddenly become inept after they get paid. I would agree that some don't put forth the effort once they sign that big contract (Dareus for one). Tre has never impressed me as one who would not put forth maximum effort. I do believe he is hurting. He was out with trainers before the game and likely they agreed that it would be best for his back if he didn't play. If he's ready for KC, we'll all be thankful. -

Yes. I saw that they were off the COVID list. That's why I was surprised they are inactive. Sort of evens out missing John Brown. -

According to the NFL app Fulton and Correa are listed as inactive for Tennessee. -

Maybe. But they didn't elevate any WR's. Good sign for John Brown and Andre Roberts. -

I hear you. I was trying to pull D2D from the ledge. I'm trying to be rational and totally agree that our team can hang with and beat any team in the league. I also am aware of "any given Sunday." It being Tuesday, perhaps I should abandon that awareness and have faith in this team. -

Let's face it. We have been nervous through the first 4 weeks of the season. We are all having a hard time believing in this Bills team. If our defense were playing lights out with this offense, we'd be on cloud nine. That has not been the case though. Now the offense is carrying the defense. We also have injuries. If none of this nonsense had occurred and you objectively looked at both teams, you would say the Bills are the better team...playing against tougher opponents to date (with the notable exception of our friends from NJ). Neither team though is 100%...and with the extra time off, we are wondering if our team might come out flat. There's always something each week that plays into our mistrust of this Bills team. Each week though...despite the game being closer than what we would like...this team has come through. So...your fear is understandable. Rationally, there is no reason to believe the Bills will not show up and play a solid game. -
I wouldn't be so quick to blame the Spectrum app for the sport feed pixelation. The local station feeds have been brutal...often losing the picture completely. Yesterday, for example, WIVB lost the Raiders v KC game. I have a backup antenna and the game was lost there as well. I have the NFL app on my TV and was surprised that I was able to watch RedZone through the app. (No games since I don't have Game Pass.) So I watched some Red Zone and some of the Steelers game on Fox.

Classy by Jason Garett. NFL may be a business, but it is very personal.

Nice return!

Who else held up 4 fingers in the past week?

They're also playing an easier schedule...with the NFC east. Steelers wins have come against the Giants, Broncos, Texans and Eagles.

Probably from the fan base.
