  1. I just don't see them staying in Arizona. At this point it's pretty obvious that they aren't wanted there. I'm tired of this league chasing the all mighty US fanbase. Its not happening and never will. It's a shame too cause IMO hockey is the most exciting sport out of all the major ones. It's down the final four and there is more talk sports media wise about the NFL new season coming up and the NBA. It's time they started going to markets that actually like the game instead of pushing it into markets where it will be an afterthought. IMO the only two markets that would work are KC and Cleveland. Personally I think they need to go Quebec City. Give them a team back.
  2. I agree with that. As a fan it's not what I want to see. I want to see the skilled players dominate. I don't want to see 3rd and 4th line guys lead the way.
  3. Don't get me wrong, I like that your team is doing well for you. As a Canadian and some who loves hockey over any other sport, hates seeing what they have done to the game. It's all to get that all mighty US dollar. I'm sorry but it's been a failure. Ratings are still not any better.
  4. Not totally but I think they need to go back to calling everything like they did back in 2006. That's when the game was at its best. The fast and high skilled teams excelled. I hate how the game is played now. It's slowly heading back to clutch and grab. I want to the stars shine not guys like Kolesar.
  5. Star players as in McDavid, Draisaitl, MacKinnon, those are star players. If they were consistent then the Oilers probably move on as that powerplay probably wins them the series. I agree he dealt with a lot but what he did has no business in the game. It's not that I hate the guy cause I do think he's a good player and he did play for my local junior team.
  6. It's none of those for me. My dislike for Vegas is a bi-product of everything that's wrong with the NHL as a whole. It starts with series/game management. IMO Pietrangelo shouldn't be playing til next year for one. Two calling the game different in the regular season and playoffs makes the league look bad. Teams high skill and speed should be favored and the game should be called to favor that. Instead the game is called so 3rd and 4th liners are on equal footing as star players.
  7. For me I have interest in any of the teams left. No star power to draw me in and have no emotional attachment good or bad to any of the teams.
  8. For me it's Oilers or nothing. IMO these southern teams don't deserve anything. They only support their teams when winning or in the case of the Panthers never support them.
  9. I hope Edmonton wins tonight and wins the series. If they don't then my interest in the playoffs is done. Florida and Carolina is a bore and same with Vegas and who ever wins between Dallas and Seattle.
  10. I don't see them reducing costs. I see them following Jacksonville and putting one home game a year in London to make up for it.
  11. Either way the division got a lot harder. It's not a given the Bills are the number 1. It's going to be a dog fight the whole season.
  12. Unfortunately there isn't enough of you that will pay the prices that come with the new stadium. It's a big reason the majority of new stadiums across all leagues are making the stadium experience more important.
  13. That's the cost of keeping the team in Buffalo. I'm told that's all that matters
  14. First I will ask is how many of you have gone to any other stadiums in any of the big 4 leagues in the US? If you look around at a lot of the newer stadiums they all have major amenities. Examples are bars/restaurants and in a few stadiums I have visited they had an area for families to enjoy. I get it that most of you on this board are hardcores and are there for the game. The thing is a lot of the casual fans want those things. For them the stadium and what's in it is the draw. The game no longer is much of one as most can watch it at home for free.
  15. I hate hate hate the whole argument of just being happy the Bills are staying. Bleh. The whole mentality of just happy to be here is disgusting. This was the chance for Buffalo to create a state of the art stadium and show they belong in the NFL. Instead they went for the cheapest stadium they could build.
  16. I will go to check out the new stadium but if it's just an improved version of Highmark then I will most likely just stay home instead. For me personally, the game itself isn't enough to draw me to any stadium now. At one time it was. Now with the cost of going to a game and the fact I can watch it home with a better view it's hard to justify going.
  17. Since I didn't get a downtown domed stadium my focus is on the amenities that the new stadium will have. For me personally location is not a deal breaker as much as the new stadium having similar amenities to what other new stadiums have. If all they do is basically just update at Highmark stadium has then that's a deal breaker.
  18. First I will say Beane is far from a top GM. While the other teams are improving or fixing holes in their roster, so far he's done little to fix anything. Second, I don't get this fan base at all. Many seem to have the attitude of "just happy to be here". Meaning you're just happy to have a playoff contender year in, year out after missing the playoffs for so long. Same with the stadium, most are just happy the Bills are staying. This fan base should expect more.
  19. I know what you're talking about. There is no point getting worked up over the things out of your control. Like the crappy stadium that's coming or the lack of additions the Bills are doing. Just accept it and enjoy it.
  20. Both those teams were already ahead of the Bills. I believe more in the Chiefs to fix holes then the Bills right now. McBeane hasn't shown they can do it.
  21. It's a message board. It would be an awful echo chamber if all that was posted is DA BILLS ARE THE BESTEST IN THE WORLD.
  22. I could care less about winning the division again. The question should be what have they done to get better against the playoff teams they lost to. Like another top WR that's not Davis that takes pressure off Diggs or better RB that is an major upgrade over what they continue to put out.
