  1. It's been " a couple calls or a couple of plays" for the last few seasons. IMO he's taken them as far as he can. I don't understand that notion that if McDermott left they all of a sudden go to being a drought team.
  2. It's the same results. The one constant is the head coach.
  3. You missed the part about it happening every season. It's been multiple seasons with the same result.
  4. Whatever they are doing on defense hasn't changed the outcome each year. The defense continues to get lit up by good QB play each playoffs.
  5. Why is this fanbase so anti diva? It's the way the players are now, especially a lot of the top talent is. Very few teams win with a team full of choir boys.
  6. This here is why I don't see the Bills getting over the hump. The fans and front office are so anti diva that any time a high end player does this you want him gone
  7. Your first point is why IMO they have never gotten over the hump. They are too focused on culture guys As far as the second point, you're right it's no guarantee of a Superbowl win but you do need playmakers to get you there. IMO is something the Bills lack. Look at the past few Super Bowl winners. All have playmakers on both sides of the ball.
  8. This is the way the league's players do it now. Just accept it. It's not about staying on top year after year. It's about having top talent and doing what the Eagles and Rams did. I would trade multiple winning seasons for one Superbowl win.
  9. I want to believe that but all the years he's been coach his defense hasn't changed philosophy much and crumbled against good offenses.
  10. Got you now. Now they are counting people that most likely aren't watching making the ratings better. Even without that I'm sure the number was still very high. Your list you made is still a high number of people.
  11. It's not my job to figure out who up and coming coaches to get. All I know is McD has taken this team as far as he can. His defense has played the same every playoff with the same results. My thoughts are many are afraid if McD goes the Bills go back to being irrelevant.
  12. That all could be true. It doesn't change how many tuned in. I get many want to believe there was an actual boycott and many didn't tune in. The majority of people tuning in are casual fans and tune in regardless of the teams playing
  13. Nope not at all. Reading that tells me they are getting a more accurate number. Instead let's keep this boycott going.
  14. They aren't going to make up numbers. I feel it's a bunch of bitter fans that don't want to believe they are wrong
  15. I agree he doesn't but I also think the stigma of a blue collar team has some influence. Look at how many are against elite talent of it comes with some character issues.
  16. The average viewer doesn't care about narratives.
  17. I disagree. As long as there is hope every season nothing changes.
  18. People checking in still counts. I get it most are tired of the chiefs but to keep making excuses is ridiculous. People obviously tuned in.
  19. IMO the reason many are reluctant to move on from McDermott is they are afraid the team takes a step back or ends back in the drought era.
  20. I disagree. From a fans perspective that makes sense. From the owner perspective, hope sells tickets more than a championship does. As long as the Bills are competitive and make the playoffs, I don't seem much changing. They need a continuous good team to keep the new stadium full.
  21. First thing that needs to be done if they want to build through the trenches is to end the rotation system they love to use.
  22. Disagree with the bolded. Just look at the Eagles roster. They have high talent all over that were drafted in the last 3rd of the 1st Rd or later.
  23. As great as the offense was this season, my concern it will come back to earth a little bit. I would be shocked if Hollins repeats his performance next season.
  24. He has been doing the same thing over and over again in regards to defense. It continues to be the reason they lose in the playoffs every season. His philosophy of complimentary football doesn't work nor does his stop the deep play defense work against the best teams.
  25. So much for the boycott. They set a new record with 137 million tuning in to the Super Bowl. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/super-bowl-lix-tv-ratings-record-feb-9-2025-1236132107/
