  1. It's due there schedule left and their offense looked really good last week. I think they make it and the Bengals make it. The last spot comes down Buffalo, Miami and Denver.
  2. When you do the ESPN playoff machine they miss out at 10-7 for a wildcard. Their best bet is the division. The Texans are done but the Browns, Bengals and Broncos all have easy schedules.
  3. IMO the problem with the Mclappity lovers is they are afraid if he gets fired the drought years will return and the Bills will be irrelevant again. It's great Mclappity got the Bills to the playoffs and made them relevant again. He's never going to get them over the hump.
  4. Sure there is a chance they get in. Due to them being 6-6, they lose one more game and it's pretty much over. As mediocre the teams in front of the Bills are, they all need to just play .500 and they get to 10 wins.
  5. Unfortunately the Bills don't play them. They need to beat KC and Dallas to have any chance at the playoffs. 10-7 isn't going to make it. By doing the ESPN playoff machine, I have the wild cards being Indy, Houston and Denver all at 10-7. If that's how it ends the Bills are out.
  6. I can see them cleaning house if they don't make the playoffs. The team needs a successful season next year to drive ticket sales for the new stadium. Coming back with the same regime and most likely a retool as lot of defensive guys are older will be a tough sell for casual fans.
  7. All I know is the Bills better be winning next season. Otherwise it will be a tough sell for tickets to the new stadium
  8. They keep playing like this they will be in the mix for the playoffs. My hope is they go on a run the next few weeks and maybe start getting the attention they deserve.
  9. Yes a lot of that was due to playing some bad offenses and QBs. Look at how they did against the Eagles, Bengals with Burrow and the Jaguars. The defense gave up more than 20 points in each of those games and struggled. It's the same thing every season. The defense looks great during the regular season as they play a mix of good and bad teams. When the playoffs start and play good offenses they struggle.
  10. This team really can't afford a down season next year. Going into a new stadium on a downward trend is going to make hard to sell PSL and season tickets
  11. There's no guarantee that changes anything. Look at the Steelers. They changed OC's and they are still the same.
  12. Most teams also win games they aren't supposed to as well. I can see them beating the Ravens. It evens out in the end. I don't think the Bills win the division at this point.
  13. While true, they also have an easy 3 next games. They win those they get to 11 wins. I don't see the Bills get that many.
  14. They also play 3 teams with just as bad offenses. They play the Jets, Bengals without Burrow and Bears. That defense allow will keep them in most games. I just don't see how all the teams in front of Buffalo fall off and Buffalo all of a sudden playing as the best team in the league.
  15. I don't hate them but I don't like them either. The only team I don't like is the Steelers and that's due to their obnoxious fanbase
  16. Why Dallas? That rivalry is non existent now.
  17. I do. I have Cleveland and Denver finishing at 10-7 with Buffalo. Buffalo ends up out.
  18. I ran the ESPN one 10 times now and the Bills get in once or twice at 10-7. They need a lot to go their way to make it at 10-7.
  19. While true, they also play the Jets, Bears and Bengals. I can see them beating all 3 of those teams. Many here just assume since the Steelers and Browns have crappy QBs and crappy offenses they will just lost here on out. No one is taking into account their remaining schedules. Look out for Denver, ever since the Miami game their defense has come around and the offense is playing decent now.
  20. I did the simulator a few times and they get in most times. It's due to their remaining schedule. They play some weak teams left and that defense will win them some games. Same goes for Cleveland. Both play the Bengals with no Burrow. It's going to come down to the last few weeks.
  21. To be fair there is been posters here who say the same thing
  22. It's also hard to win in this league. Either way if they don't 2 of the next 3 games seasons over. Even then it's going to be tough to make it at 10-7. That lose to the Pats is going to come back go haunt them.
  23. That's the thing. As I said earlier, the NFL has no reason to change anything. It's the same for the NBA and the NHL. They are paid to manage the games and keep them as close as possible.
  24. Agreed. The NHL and NBA are no different. The refs call the game to keep them the score as close as possible. It helps with parity and helps with TV numbers if games are close. It will never change as calling the game this way is what's best for the league.
