It's crazy how bent and corrupt the system has gotten that they aren't even worried about this being completely public. A political party telling the independent media to target their opposition? Not even 15 years ago I feel like that would have instantly ended careers, if not led to some more serious consequences. Well, but here we are...

At this same time, this fan base really embraced the hype machine. Josh seems like a good kid but he’s been a bit of a hothead since day one, and when you’re young and rich and people are putting your visage hurdling linebackers into t shirts I think that just lends itself more to him wanting to do too much to live up to the hype. Josh needs a factory reset - needs to go back to the Jordan Palmer camp of fundamentals and just calm down. Just about every move we’ve made to retool the offense this year was to take the pressure off of him… And frankly I think he should have played way more this preseason to take some of the edge off. That’s on the coaches.

This about sums it up. The Bills just don't play like a confident, elite team that knows it's going to dominate inferior competition.

Yeah our plays that are designed specifically to get guys into space with room to run never seem to have any space or room to run... It's a bit of a problem.

Oliver actually played decent last night. Doubt he plays up to his contract, but run defense seemed a lot better when he was in. We signed Taylor Rapp for a reason. He may be starting sooner than later... and regardless of injury to boot.

Yeah, but it isn't just his brain that fails him on the short passes. Josh's touch on short passes has always been, well... basically non existent. Even if we could block for a screen pass worth a game, Josh routinely fails to place the ball in an easy way for the catcher to grab and run. It's a real problem, for an elite defense like the Jets that can take away the long game and apply great pressure there's almost no answer for it.

One good thing about last night is it took my mind off of the Elam disappointment. Until you reminded me, anyway. Thanks for that 😅

I'm kind of a noob but is it just me or do we never move the pocket for him? I feel like Josh could dominate on play action rollouts, especially if we set up a solid ground game for him. But through so many years we just never seen to do either one of those things...

The good news for Bills fans is our coaches have a solid ten weeks to figure out this dynamic Zach Wilson/ Nate Hackett offense... perhaps by then they can crack the code 🤓

The crusher of this stat line is that most of those INT’s are of the completely unnecessary and boneheaded variety. Josh isn’t just throwing balls that get tipped and picked off or falling for some crazy disguised coverages… he’s been throwing balls that don’t have to be thrown into blatantly obvious double and triple coverage. I mean what the heck man…

Hey listen here Mr., the delayed draw up the middle being stopped for negative yards has been a staple of this team’s offensive identity for years now. It’s up to Cook to carry on that storied tradition!
