  1. Exactly.
  2. Umm... yes he had. He had filled in admirably for Montana numerous times.
  3. Dare I do it, but this is the first time I completely disagree with you. Lying in the face of video evidence??? What the heck are you talking about? He simply said that he didn't think he did it, but the official called it and he must live with it. So he said he didn't agree... is it really that big a deal from a leadership standpoint? A young player can look up to Moulds by watching him during game time when he's ALWAYS playing hard -- I'll never forget two seasons ago when Bledsoe threw an INT and everyone on offense gave up except for Moulds, who ran down the field and tackled the guy before the goal line.
  4. Perhaps you should consider moving on because you're complaning about nothing. Eric Moulds has done more for this franchise than anyone on this roster and stuck with the Bills when he could have taken a lot more money elsewhere. Here's what he said: "He called offensive pass interference, so I guess he saw something that I didn't see," Moulds said. "But the officials made the call, and we've got to live with it. I don't think I (pushed off). Even the New England guys were saying, "We got away with one that time.' It was a crucial point in the game, and at that point I feel like we should be able to play." Perhaps you're different, but I don't fault players for wanting to win.
  5. I agree with you. The worst play IMO was Holcomb's INT because he had his eyes set on Moulds before the play even started -- a dead giveaway as to where he was going with the ball. As for the sack and fumble, that was 100% the Offensive Line.
  6. Ever since GW came aboard, we have been notorious for boneheaded challenges. Gotta love it.
  7. Yeah TD rocks baby. Check out the team's record under his tenure.
  8. If this was already posted, get over it. Article
  9. I am hoping you are being sarcastic.
  10. How about this: THEY SUCK. This is a testament to TD's drafting (or lack there of)
  11. How homerific of you. Though I completely agree with the top-level management choices.
  12. Ridiculous. Mularkey made the decision he felt was best for the team. Just because a few vets went into this office doesn't mean that he based his decision solely on them. Nevertheless, had Mularkey continued to play Losman, looking at (as you call it) the "longer path," he would have lost his team. The decision to go with Alex Smith and Eli Manning are completely different, as they come in wtih a 7 ear contract making Pro Bowl money. Such is not the case with JP.
  13. I will. I think he's a solid shut-down corner. Problem is that both cornerbacks, throughout the game, were playing 10-15 yards off the receiver and it was almost as though they were guarding against the deep ball. I was at the game, sat in the 2nd row and noticed this on each and every play. It's easy to bash Clements on one bad game but overall, he is one of the top corners in the league.
  14. I couldn't agree with you more. Thanks for bringing some sanity to this board. This team is mired in mediocrity.
  15. I second that. Had a great time.
  16. Bills Nation. Got my jersey, got my hat and got my beer. It's on. 5th row 20 yard line baby! GO BILLS
  17. My sentiments exactly. It's almost a cult following where everyone just gushes about it for no apparent reason. They're good burgers, but not to die for.
  18. Yeah but if he does it for two weeks in a row, that's when it will be MM-like.
  19. I believe team leaves for Oakland on Sat early morning.
  20. I gotta make sure I join you guys for the tailgate.
  21. Agilen, I did go to a game last season and wore my Bills jersey. It was bad, but wasn't that bad. People yelled and taunted, but nobody did anyting threatening. It was all in good fun as far as I'm concerned. And I plan to wear my gear once again.
  22. Bottom line: JP's inability to complete short to mid-range passes crippled the offense. Teams no longer respected the pass and stuffed the box to shut Willis down. You see he wasn't playing to his potential during JP's short-lived tenure. To counter-act that during the game, the coaches had to call long pass plays just to get the safeties to move back. You can call plays until the cows come home, but defenses will not respect it unless they are EXECUTED. That's where the problem was with our young quarterback. Executing in the short to mid-range requires quick decision making and confidence in the pocket. JP showed flashes of them, but not nearly enough to sustain drives. This team is too good for this type of experiement to occur. If JP was a top 5 pick and was making $8M a year, I might speak differently. But from a cap standpoint, the team's investment is not all that high. Thus, sit him and let the wins pile up.
  23. Certainly. On the same token, where would AVin be if Drew Bledsoe were his QB? Oh yeah, we saw that scenario play out over the course of 7 years. Most of the time, the Patriots were in situations were all they needed was a field goal. Thus, going for a TD was out of the question (particularly in the Super Bowl victories against Carolina and St. Louis). So I would necessarily characterize it as an inability to finish drives. The objective was set at the beginning to get into field goal range, and that objective was accomplished.
