No. Doug Pederson called plays.
That's what I thought. I wonder if he'll try to do that for the Colts or have his OC do it.
-
Did he call plays for the Eagles?
-
I could sign up for a fear based organization in Buffalo if it means we win.
Not like I have to play for the team. I just watch them.
-
He's in the NFL for a reason. He can make some plays.
But the two most basic stats are yards and TD's. He's at the bottom of the league in those. It doesn't matter what other stats you bring in when those two numbers are so incredibly low.
-
Wow. I didn't even realize he was still playing.
Why does he even want to continue to play considering the boat loads of money he has made in his career and how far his skill has declined? Shouldn't he feel embarrassed by now? What does he have left to prove?
-
If he is still there at 10, I think the Bills should trade up and get him.

Ain't happening!
You have a point.

He can play. He's got what it takes from both a physical as well as a mental perspective. Great move for both sides IMO.
Which means you haven't wtached him play at all if you make any kind of comparison of him to BO.
Did I not say he looked good in his starts? I think I did.
Doesn't change the fact that he has only started a few games. RGIII looked amazing for an entire season. There is always a chance he doesn't turn out as good as they thought.

My wish list...it doesn't have to make sense to them, LOL.
I am hoping Cleveland wants to draft one of the falling OT's in the draft and want to beef up the OL for their new QB & RB...
A 2nd and 3rd for a late first rounder is a lot to ask.

This reminds me of the huge Brock Osweiler contract a couple of years ago. The guy has no experience in the NFL yet.
He does look good though for the free games he played.

Shanahan prefers Cousins. it was highly speculated prior to landing Jimmy and now that Cousins is finally available and probably not that much more expensive than what they might see as an unproven player in Jimmy it might make sense if Jimmy wants too much money. they haven't signed him yet for a reason and not sure what that is.
this is probably a ridiculous rumor but i'm trying to make sense of it if it was true. that would be one heck of a splash though
Hey, that would be an ideal scenario for the Bills, but I just don't see it happening.
-
Why would the 49ers agree to this? Shouldn't they want to keep Jimmy G? He has the potential of being better than Cousins, probably will be cheaper, and he is much younger.

He is not very accurate. His completion percentage is artificially high.
I wouldn't say he is super inaccurate, but not accurate either. He seemed to throw over the heads of all intermediate or deep routes, but hit short and check downs alright.
He's just so afraid to throw the ball into coverage, even when there are clear windows.

He undoubtedly is, just look at his recent posts for evidence.
My issue with this is that they have been divorced for years and it's coming up now as a result of a cash-grab tactic by his ex. Her attorney came out today and said it was all just "mistrust between exes" and there's nothing to see here. For those of you lucky enough not to be aware: family law is seedy and awful, people regularly paint each other as monsters to extract whatever they want from the other side. Looks like this attorney overplayed their hand and is regretting they may have just killed the goose that laid the golden egg and are trying to walk things back.
I have no opinion about the thread topic. She definitely might be trying to just get money out of him. Who knows?
But I don't like the hear guys talk about "putting a woman in her place". Makes women sound like an object or a pet. This is something that men have said about women for decades, and it usually means the man dominating the woman.

Eh, if it happens, it happens. It's McDermott's defense so whoever he'd hire to replace Frazier (if he leaves) would be running McD's system.
I somewhat agree, but it sure would be nice to have more continuity. Don't want to have to replace both coordinators in one year.

So now you can simply make anyone unemployable of you are a woman by making up a bunch of BS that has no basis in reality? When are men going to stand up and say enough is enough and put them back in their place?
No different than when a woman you are dating does something disrespectful and you don't put her in her place(verbally). She just does it again and keeps going further and further and further. This is the current state of things...too many beta dudes who let women walk all over them in their relationships and allow it when running the government.
Per her in her place? I sure hope you mean as your absolute equal.
But I doubt that. Sounds like you are a sexist.

Maybe you think people who can't handle their buzz should drink and drive, but I disagree.
You're a moron and your mindset is exactly the reason why these types of things happen. People think they can handle their "buzz" and can drive, but there is no such thing.
And then you mention the draft, saying it's good it happened before so they can draft his replacement? I can't even believe how insensitive that is.

At least it happened before the draft.
Wow. You are a real person?

Butler honestly is not that good. I highly doubt that he would have changed the outcome of the game.

Which is one of the many reasons our OC was fired.

No qb, no top 5 pick to attain qb.
Which is exactly what we had this year.

The two recipes to win are:
1) Have an elite QB and offense and a defense not bad enough to lose you a lot of games
Or (if you don't have that)
2) Have a top 3 defense and good running game.
It's easier to win with an elite QB because it is harder to build and maintain a top 3 defense year in and year out, in my opinion.
If you don't have the QB, you automatically have to go for the elite defense and run game, because if you don't you have NO chance at all.

Arizona is that high?
That list is a head scratcher. Why would Buffalo go from a playoff team to one of the worst teams in the league?
5 hours ago, YoloinOhio said:Denver at 40:1 is too high unless the Cousins thing is a done deal.
This too. What has happened to their team to launch them up the boards?
-
Funny they say that the Bills had one of the worst WR groups in the NFL. If they had a quality QB throwing to them, they would have been fine.
Benjamin was putting up great numbers THIS SEASON before being traded to Buffalo. Matthews put up very good numbers his entire career before coming to Buffalo.
I think those two, at least, are quality starters and we wouldn't even be talking about the WR group if we had a top 15 passer throwing to them.
