The Patriots traded a 2nd round pick for an unknown?
Not really moronic if you are looking to rebuild the roster and shed salary like the Dolphins.
You made it seem like it was impossible for the Bills to make that trade but I just gave you an example of that same team trading a good player within the division.... to the ***** Patriots of all teams.
In 2007. And yes, Welker was an unknown. He had a 60 catch 600 yard season and was a good return man. He was also a restricted free agent.
Of course there are dumb examples out there, but the general rule is that division rival do not trade with each other often. Is this news to you? Do you have some more decade old examples?

I rest my case. Moronic. And by the way, Welker was an unknown then, not an established player.

I don't see the resemblance besides their skin color.

Result of Kraft legal issues?

Yes indeed. It is common knowledge even if it is not obvious for some fans.

Hey, Twitter is kinda fun.

You know this how?
Because a team would be moronic to trade a good player to a division rival?

I see your point.
Maybe the answer is something like;
A fair independent review to take the on the spot judgment out of the game.
Increase fines and suspension like with with other stuff.
As as an example I see Poyer and Hyde let up and not kill a guy when when they could quite often. Still good safeties though.
How is do you make that part of the sportsmanship around the game?
The answer is to enforce the penalties for hits to the head / neck of the player. They also have an unnecessary roughness penalty that can be used to penalize any vicious, unnecessary hit. I don't think they need a new rule that takes good plays out of the game.

You ever hear of Seattle Mafia or Pack Mafia.
Does the nickname "Mafia" automatically mean we have better and more loyal fans?

This would've been a move I'd like to see the Bills make.
They would want to trade him out of conference, which they did, not to a division rival.

Wow. A penalty because guys aren't aware of their surroundings? Just go out there with horse blinders so you can draw a penalty every time you get blocked.
I really don't like this. It's the defender's job to be aware. If you hit them in the head/neck area, sure it's a foul, but a clean hit on their body shouldn't ever be a foul.

This rule doesn't take into account how vicious the hit is. ANY block, even if it is just a nudge, could potentially be called, which is a big problem to me. The defender just has to not be looking around.

I don't see it. I read about him thinking hes smartest guy in room so don't know how that would fly.
Do you think Brady is a humble guy? He throws tantrums on the sideline and chews out players and coaches routinely.

Get as much talent out of Miami as possible. I hope their rebuild takes a long, long time.

I think he'll improve their team. The question is by how much. The oline is obviously more important, but Bell can cover up some of that problem to a certain extent, I think.
But their success is tied to one guy, and that's Darnold.

Holy freakin crap we beat the pack?
I mean I believe we are the finest fan base out there, but perception is generally GB is best.
The tides are a changin'. I think the Dalton donations are warming the world up to us. That, or it's just tons of Bills fans bum rushing the poll.
I think it just means that Bills fans turned out on Twitter more than Packers fans. This is not representative of the general NFL fan population.
But beating Seattle and the Packers should be eye opening for people following this. I bet most fans would assume we would get trounced by both.

I have to say WR and Oline are still the biggest needs. We've gone from deplorable to below average, which is a big step up of course, but we need to get better at both still.
That said, I think a penetrating DT is a big need and also an edge rusher who can get consistent pressure. Getting either of those will take the focus off of Hughes and we'll see his sack numbers increase. He's not the kind of guy who can do it all himself. He needs someone competent across from him.

I think female media members have a legit beef about how they are treated. I mean, this whole thread is about what she looks like and not about what she said.
I agree with her. I think Allen will be a breakout player in 2019.

I know people love it, but Josh had WAY better plays, both passing and running, than his Barr hurdle. That was just kind of the play that out him on the map.
That run where he turned Kiko around 2 or 3 times making him look silly was better, in my opinion. Also, his bomb to Foster while getting smashed by defenders... still don't know how he got that pass off.

Good special teams help, but if we draft a RB for the future there is no way we could keep that many running backs, right? How many do teams usually keep on the 53 man roster?

Wow, took me forever to login to Twitter. Not sure why I even have an account. Also, did my first retweet!
Oh, and I voted.

I'm no genius and I got a 36 on my first try. I can't for the life of me figure out how players can get less than a 20, especially when they have months to train for the draft and should have taken sample tests multiple times to improve their scores.
I mean, they just got out of college, right? They have to keep up grades to be able to play.

Both 6-2. Harry is thicker at 223 vs Jones 203. Jones 4.45 40 vs harry 4.53. Both scouting report weakness reads almost the same. Foot speed an issue threating a defense deep, will struggle vs press due to lack of suddenness and quickness. Both work well underneath. They are similar in alot of ways. I would rather have Zay jones year 3 than Harry year 1. I would rather have Metcalf or trade down or rd 2 Butler.
He is not huge or fast though. I dont care what the combine says. You watch him play nothing jumps out at you.
His ability to make contested catches jumps out at you. His ability to track the ball in the air (his QB consistently underthrew him) is also impressive.

I don't think the Sabres have anything to do with the Bills. And I think that no matter the record this year, McDermott and company will get at least one more year, unless it is just truly an epically bad season (only 1 or 2 wins and Josh Allen is the worst QB in the league).
I think 2020 is judgement year. If we don't make the playoffs again by the end of that season I think they get the axe.
I know fans get impatient but I personally think the current Bills regime has the team on the right track and I want to be absolutely sure before firing them and tearing everything down again.

I’m so excited about the wr corps this year. We could stand pat and still go into the season looking pretty solid.
I think we are in the below average / average range right now. The off-season additions got us up to par. Still need some top end talent to get this receiving group where we want it to be.
But yes, you could go into the season feeling decent about the group, knowing that next off season it will be a priority to get a #1 WR.
