This is why we are forever 7-9
We made the playoffs two years ago at 9-7, and last year we were 6-10.
Are you claiming John Brown isn't good? You're wrong. I've followed him and he is a good receiver. He is a low end #1, high end #2 in my opinion.
-
John Brown is now by far the best WR for the Bills. Far better than Zay Jones.
-
John Brown is very talented. I don't understand why people don't realize that.
-
This will change when we win. I mean, if Green Bay had been losing for the past two decades is there any doubt that they would be ranked near the bottom?

The difference is like $1 million per year. Not far apart at all.

Very excited. Happy to have him.

I love how everyone is "meh" to all this when in reality the Jets are doing everything they can do to make their team ready to compete NOW and not settling for scraps or bargain basement players. Something we all wished the Bills were doing.
Does it guarantee wins? No.
Propel them towards a Lombardi? No.
The Jets have done this before. Splurge in FA and only to fall flat, but to their credit they keep trying. So let's see now.
Leonard Williams
Jamal Adams
Anthony Barr
CJ Mosley
Avery Williamson
and coming soon either Quinnen Williams or Josh Allen. And with Greg Williams at the DC position. Yikes!!
Beane really has to solidify that O line now.
C'mon Beane! Time to stir up that cauldron and whip up your best witchcraft cause we need it. Go Bills!!
The teams that win perennialy do not build their teams that way, so I disagree that the Jets deserve credit for trying it that way yet again.

They will have a lot of disfunction to go with their talent.
-
Big risk. He sat out for a full year. He'll have to get brought back slowly to avoid injury. I'm sure Beane knows what he is doing.
-
I'll take John Brown. I'm a fan. I think he can be a borderline #1. I'd still sign more guys and draft one, but Brown can ball.
-
Anybody know the contract? Come on, don't make me use the Google myself...
-
Tyrod is going to have a Fitzpatrick career. He'll get signed as a backup and come in for the injured starter and play well. He'll convince his team to give him a shot, then the mirage will fade and he'll be exposed as too limited to start. Rinse and repeat.
Best backup in the game, worst starter. He should have a job for as long as he likes, though.

Free agency didn't even start yet, right? This is just the legal tampering period I think.
-
Dang. I wanted Barr, but definitely not for $14-15 mill. Maybe $9-10.
-
Jackson needs an elite RB to take the pressure off of him. This would be a good move for them.

Guess he didn't want to blow tons of cap space on a receiver north of 30 years old and who has very recent questionable behavior.

then you must not have listened very hard. It was clear PR control most likely ordered from Bills PR staff. It could not have been any more obvious. This show was the only one on any media platform trying to spin this story into something it was not.
Or Murphy and Tasker are just fans of the team and like to spin things positive. Doesn't mean they were ordered to by Pegula.

I agree that Tasker and Murphy were overzealous. What they don't realize is that there is also no real evidence that Brown did NOT cancel the trade. He very well could have. So it goes both ways.

With all this being said, didn’t Dri Archer do the same thing to us?
Wasn't he just a waiver claim though?

Rams GM is basically me playing Madden
Yeah, the last couple years with them getting Suh and a bunch of other pieces. They do feel like a Madden team to me too.

I just don't understand why teams trade with them....
Seriously. Belichick makes great trades. I fully expect the trade to be one sided.
EDIT: Yep, pair of future late round picks in 2020. So dumb.

How convenient. It doesnt fit your predetermined narrative, therefore it's not true. Amirite?
No. You're not right. There's no reliable sources of information, so the information is not reliable and simply speculation.
-
Still seems like speculation to me. More likely Brown heard the word "Buffalo" and just said "no way, agent, find someone else."

Burning a bridge implies that the "burnee" found out what the "burnor" did. Beane will never admit to trolling but you and I know that's exactly what he did.
No, I think it was all legitimate.

He's had one draft. Let's give him more time before anointing him anything good or bad.
His effectiveness as a GM is directly tied to the results on the football field. If the Bills win, he'll be heralded, if the team loses, he'll be run out of town.
Wr signings vote of confidence for Foster and Zay?

Foster is still somewhat of an unknown. As it stands right now, Brown is by far the best receiver on the team. Foster could develop into a good receiver though. Let's see how he does in year 2.
