  1. Oh no! That evil business is trying to make money and expand its brand again! Most fans just watch their teams play and maybe SNF and MNF. So, you are par for the course.
  2. Excellent post. One of the best I've seen.
  3. It seems you don't watch other teams. There are clock management blunders in just about every single game. I disagree that McDermott's issues are worse than the rest of the league. Can you provide evidence that he is the worst? Is there some kind of analysis you have done? Otherwise, your claim is just hyperbole and bluster.
  4. Henis a control freak, that's for sure.
  5. I think you do it the right way. Sports should be entertaining. Some fans get too invested and it begins to impact their life in negative ways.
  6. What makes them games of the year?
  7. Yep. They are both incredible. I'd rather have Allen because I like him more and also like the running ability.
  8. He didn't just start early on this play, though. He rocks back and then starts. It was a classic false start.
  9. And this is only Mahome's 7th season as a starter as well, though it is technically his 8th season.
  10. It is amazing what one week can do to the Bills fan psyche.
  11. Mahomes didn't play his first season, so they are on a very similar pace. Pretty incredible QBs.
  12. Von Miller was probably the only one who played decently.
  13. There is also Randall Cunningham, Tony Romo, and Dan Fouts. And of course, Marino made it but never won it.
  14. Very true. Force their hand. There were some tricky tack calls that went our way (and their way as well), but still borderline, at least. The blatant missed calls are much worse, in my opinion. It is just refs not paying attention.
  15. A big part of it was the game script. The Bills invite the run because they know that eventually the opposing offense will have to abandon the run and pass the ball to keep up with Josh Allen and the Bills offense, making them play into our atrengths and keeping them one dimensional. That works a majority of the time. But the offense stalled early and the Rams got up by multiple scores (including a special teams TD). That allowed them to continue to run as much as they want, and then rely on a talented QB to make throws to two talented receivers when necessary. It was the perfect storm, but you would also like to see the defense be more nimble. But, the defensive line just continues to suck for some reason. They disappear in every big game, it seems. We need to just move on from all of them over the next couple of years and reset it with new players. Oliver is too small and streaky. Rousseau disappears at times and never gets to the QB with any consistency. Jones is old and ineffective now. Miller is old and not what he used to be. Epenesa is a depth player. Blow the line up, I say. Bring in some free agents and draft picks so we aren't seeing the same thing every year.
  16. The main storyline of the game is not that the Bills lost or the Rams won, it is that Josh Allen is a freak of nature and did incredible things in that game. That is pretty impressive. Usually, the losing team, regardless of the individual efforts, is barely talked about.
  17. They'd be calling for that coach's head as well. For sure.
  18. I've always said that there may be a time when we move on from McDermott. It might even be the right move. He will go somewhere else and turn that franchise around and turn them into a contender as well. But I wouldn't do it unless we have a couple of poor seasons (missing the playoffs) or if it is clear that he has lost the locker room and confidence of Josh Allen and other team leaders.
  19. Dude. Read my posts. That is exactly what I said. He is just as much a factor in the negative things as the positive. And the MIA defensive line, particularly Oliver, who has been mostly invisible all season. It isn't the same as 13 seconds at all. We had the lead in that game with 13 seconds left. We were down by two scores with one minute left in this game, an almost impossible situation to claw out of.
  20. When Ingram played before he was coming in as a third safety. He wasn't playing boundary corner. Ingram never got the nod over Elam as a boundary corner. Yesterday, injury pushed him into that role.
  21. It's the reason most fans are angry about it. If Tom Brady didn't say anything about it, most fans would have remained unaware. They'd still be calling for McDermott's head, though. That is the nature of Bills losses.
  22. I answered already. Any positive thing that happened, the head coach shares credit. He created everything. He empowers the other coaches to do their jobs. He created the environment for Josh Allen to flourish. He readies the players to play each week. He provides leadership and motivation. He does all the head coach things that lead to success week in and week out.
  23. Those are players. Of course you can point to the specifics of what they did right. They are on the field. It is ALWAYS much easier to evaluate players than coaches because you can see the execution.
  24. He had a hand in everything that went right and a hand in everything that went wrong. He is the head coach.
