10/20/24 Game 7 GAMEDAY Bills vs Titans 1st half thread
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
1st half take aways: 1. Losing the LOS. 2. Joe Brady sucks. 3. Our guys can't separate but they compliment that by also having bricks for hands. 4. Josh is gonna start pushing in the 2nd half -

Nate Hackett could average 30 points a game with Burrow, Chase and Jefferson playing half their schedule against crap NCAA schools. -

I didn't backtrack. At all. I don't disagree with those points. All valid. But yes you are still ignorant of why the choice was made. I'll wait to hear the answer to the question before I judge the move. Perhaps they felt that playing a team that's been playing poor and being at home...a chance to jump out early, smack their morale and set the tone was needed. Maybe they were super confident in their opening script. I have no idea. It didn't work, so it was a bad result. But it didn't play out well because of execution...not coaches decision. -

Saying you always do anything just shows you're blocked into one way of thinking and your way is the only way. Ignorant arrogance, to be honest. -

Stop. If Cooper hangs on to that and they march down and score a TD you would be praising the aggressiveness. Must be great taking the test after the answers are provided. -

Ok. Gotta go back to Coop here. Get him in the game. Gotta work Coleman in so he gets his early game drop out of the way too. -

10/20/24 Game 7 GAMEDAY Bills vs Titans PREGAME THREAD
BuffaloBillyG replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has a lot to do with it. Much like Poona Ford last year it's a "Ohh I've heard his name and the podcasts all spoonfed me 2 minutes of highlights of their best plays and love the move...so It must be good." That's my complaint about most of the local podcasts. They have a wide range and firm grip on many of the loudest of the uneducated thinkers. And so help me, the Bills could resign Nate Peterman and these jokers will go on and on about what a slam dunk move it is. -

Mason Rudolph to start vs. Bills tomorrow
BuffaloBillyG replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Levis makes horrible reads and decisions. He's prone to INTs. He looks like a guy that just doesn't believe what he sees. Easy to confuse and rattle. Will occasionally hit a big play. Rudolph isn't great by any means, but has the ability to deal the ball accurately and get it out on time. He will get the ball to his WRs and let them make plays (YAC/RAC). Not really a big play guy but a steady Eddie that won't hurt you with a costly mistake and will move the chains. -
Dawkins, Johnson fined after Jets game

I actually think hitting the uprights twice in one game is a real talent. That one kick by Bass was a worm burner. -

Darrynton Evans practice window opened.
BuffaloBillyG replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
A lot can happen in the next 21 days. What if the RB room gets washed with injuries? Good to have someone that at least practiced on this offense in the pipeline. At the end of his practice window if there are no openings, they can deal with what to do with him then. -
Amari Cooper is expected to play on Sunday
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's basically where I'm at. Cooper and Shakir need to get the highest snaps. Followed by the rookie. Get him experience before playoffs. Samuel mixed in as a change of pace for his speed and horizontal quickness. Mack Hollins can focus on STs. He should not have meaningful snaps on offense unless there are a few injuries in game. Off topic, but I'd like to see some plays designed with both Cook and Davis on the field more. -
The joke is always funny, but we seem to be collecting ex Rams more than ex Panthers these days
