  1. What a surprise, rather than have an original thought, a journalist just regurgitates the same thought everyone else has. Fails to mention Hyde and White weren't brought back because of serious injuries. Fails to mention Gabe Davis' drops or Stefon Diggs decline in production. Fails to mention Poyer's age. I thought last year was the year the Dolphins and Jets stole the division from the Bills? Goes on to write as long as the Bills have Josh Allen they will be amongst the class of the AFC, then picks them to win less than 10.5 games. Correct me if I am wrong, but are 9-10 win teams considered the class of the conference? More evidence that there is absolutely no reason to read anything about the NFL until the games are being played.
  2. Seems like a very well adjusted person.
  3. Why would the person who rigged it complain about it being rigged? Sleepy Joe already knows the outcome, and knows it will be positive for his family.
  4. Man I wish Fanduel had a prop bet "Will the WNBA ruin its own momentum with racism." This was all pretty much expected no?
  5. Freaked me out a bit because my first name actually is Josh.
  6. Every once and awhile it slips out. Tend to use brother, boss, man. Yep I am one of those.
  7. Huge Mavs fan. Both my boys love Luka so we've had a great time watching the playoffs this year. Hope they can continue the run they are on.
  8. I will take full credit for my smarminess.
  9. A Confession, Master and Man, and Anna Karenina
  10. Oddly enough I have. Studying transcendentalism was a requirement for earning my degree. You assuming I haven't, along with your assumption all Trump voters are uneducated idiots, shows both your ignorance and your arrogance. I've also read Howard Zinn, Kierkegaard, Rimbaud, Tolstoy, and Che Guevara- just in case we are all doing this weird flex where we list the authors/poets we've read to try and convince people we are superior beings.
  11. Probably just need to read some more Emerson, am I right?
  12. Why do you say he has put together a very good team? From 2019-2021 he had 10 1st-3rd round draft picks. Only two of those players are still with the team today. His 2022 draft looks good right now, but he had three 1st round picks. 2023 draft looks pretty bad. They've spent a ton of money in free agency and in trades. Not really a great way to build teams. He may have put together a good collection of talent but thats not putting together a very good team. What Joe Douglas seems to have is a lot of friends in the media, because despite being 21-56 since becoming General Manager there is still a narrative that he is a really good GM.
  13. They were already 11.5 million over the cap for 2025. Add this and you are at 27 million over the cap next year without paying your QB. Bradley Chubb better start thinking about relocation plans for January/February 2025.
  14. Nothing burger. Long way until September.
  15. Most politicians do. And those that actually practice it are ridiculed.
  16. Our world in one video. Feel awful for the kid.
  17. Let me know when one of these guys continuously upstages their Quarterback, misses the first day of Camp, tweets non-sense constantly, and has his brother asking the world to get him out of Buffalo. People go a hell of a long ways to make the organization look bad over just admitting what was clearly obvious, Diggs was a constant distraction. May want to hurry up and get on the Houston bandwagon, its filling up quick.
  18. I absolutely love these reporters who go on and on about poor scheme fits like it's 1975. If you want to be successful in the NFL in 2024 you have to be scheme versatile. Yes, the Bills play zone defense, but they also play man. The issue with Elam isn't that he doesnt fit the Bills scheme, the issue with Elam is he has poor technique. He literally can't play his position without mauling wideouts. He gets himself in position by taking the wideout out of position. Is a cornerback who mauls wideouts really better suited for a strict man defense? How many PI and defensive holding calls would he have if he played in strict man? Elam isn't doing well in Buffalo because our coaches have a standard of play and a level of expectation, if you don't meet it, you don't get on the field. They could have easily put him on the field just because he was a 1st round pick, and he would likely have decent stats. With those decent stats people would say he fits the scheme. But then the team would be sacrificing their standard just to play a 1st round pick. Bottom line is the Bills value good technique and the ability to play in team defense over draft position, it's what smart organizations do. It's not a bad scheme fit, it's a cornerback who has poor awareness.
  19. Do you think maybe they do, but you only see Beane because you're on a Bills messageboard?
  20. One or two of the following: Jerry Hughes Daryl Worley Justin Simmons Ahkello Witherspoon Quandre Diggs
  21. Going to be a wait and see. Looks like a great athlete. Can he play football? Similar Freshman year to Metcalf, but nowhere near Calvin Johnson. A lot of guys can run really fast in a straight line, it doesnt make them football players.
  22. It's been 21 years since I've had either McDonalds or Burger King. I may be a big guy, but I don't want to be a big guy with stomach cramps.
  23. So your understanding of NIL is the university directly pays football players a game check? Because that is what I would call literally paying someone to play football.
  24. Rest easy Morgan. Hopefully you're at the big golden arches in the sky where transfat can no longer hurt you.
