I gotta say, I did NOT think that game would be remotely close. New England's D is a handful, and, as always, they are well coached. It just makes want to run the score up on them, when we face them. I'll be at the game in Orchard Park. Cannot wait!

I'm sure we've gotten calls, but this is going to be the longest season in NFL history (and I've got a feeling we will be in it for the full duration; fingers crossed); opening up that kind of risk is pretty frightening. I'm not sure McBeane would put us in that kind of a position, at least not unless we get an exorbitant return on the trade. Granted: We aren't seeing Fromm in practice, so we don't know his trajectory, but I--for one--don't believe he's suddenly built the arm strength and pocket awareness to allow Daboll to feel comfortable handing him this offense, should Allen go down. All speculation, of course, but that's just my take. Can we trade for the field he watered? Asking for a friend

Definitely well deserved. I'd say the game isn't too big for the kid, but we kinda knew that, considering how big Groot is.

I feel like--and of course, this is all speculation--there just aren't many humans out there as long and athletic as Groot, who can also hold the line against OLmen. I wonder if part of his early success is due to the fact that OL just aren't accustomed to his length, and honestly don't know how to handle a guy like Groot. (also, Miami's OL wasn't very good, to begin with; we'll see how this pans out, over the course of the season, I guess).
