  1. Not sure why either.. I think this guy is a winner pick. yea.. again I dont get it..
  2. The only thing that hurts him is he gets over aggressive. This is an guy that can play swing *McD and Beane loves swings.. and if he is as good as advertised? he could change the whole OL and start at LT pushing Dawkins to G or RT. Remember when Dawkins started his career in the NFL. he played one series at RT. Came off.. (was a crap with player he replaced) Went to Guard for a few series then LT and never looked back. Dawkins can play many positions on this team.
  3. This is my pick if he is there Round 1... And here is why Anton Harrison Tackle U. Oak. 6'4 309 LBS Named to All-Big 12 First Team by the league’s coaches and A Projection Late First round but he is sliding in the right direction. Film Study Highlights Pros Athletic with the ability to play T or G Exceptional Lateral Quickness Strong hands and good with slapping defenders arms down. Creates great leverage and torque with his legs Seems to handle spin moves very well. Good football IQ. A student of the game. Cons Spent time in a spread quick throwing system. Systems like this hurt more than help. Hand placement - Holding calls (not often but enough to be noticed) *I find it funny that this is on many OL draft profiles. its a college thing and he will grow out of it). Gets Caught setting to early. (setting to early gets you pushed over by those power moves) We have to put this dude somewhere on the list yes?
  4. Another source has us going same RB in round 1 https://walterfootball.com/draft2023charlie_1.php?rbBot
  5. Mirror Mirror on the wall This offseason is on the fall Hopkins wont take the call so.. I will just take the ball and go to Mccall till fall
  6. Where is @HOUSE sarcasm when I need it the most?
  7. 100% agree with most of this.. we have to assume Hines is mainly ST till we see something different yes?
  8. lol sorry bro.. you make statements like that... its always going to bring me back to the Rosen Fiasco lol Respect
  9. so I am confused? your for a day 1 RB or no RB at all?
  10. thanks for the reply, Again this would not be the first pick but it sure is always the fun conversation to have. They are expecting Addison to drop to to not winning 1 on 1 battles and not the best of hands. So.. no on Addison. Simpson would be awesome I do admit but can Buffalo handle another Simpson? lol just saying.
  11. while i agree to you to an extent, I would be fine with Cook as a starter. was just reporting a ESPN mock. They look at Hines way more as a ST asset then a HB. Damien Harris Signed a 1 year prove it deal that we have moved on from many times. I am not disagreeing with you... I am just saying that I can see this scenario play out
  12. how about... none of the above.
  13. I agree lol. Every Damn Year!!! though 2 years ago I would wonder what would of happened if HB Etienne drifter to us? would he of been more impactful then Rousseau? Daiyan Henley in the second? so your now saying you would not pass him up?
  14. so, like me.. you watch lots of College Football. wouldn't you agree that he is a Cook but much better? like you almost did when we didn't get rosen?
  15. we wondered same thing about Cook.. Run out of backfield.. split wide. The point your missing is this is so much better and proven HB over Cook.
  16. so Hines is not being used as a RB more Special teams and the contract changes shows that. Harris is a 1 year prove it deal that we have moved on from deals like this in the past. Keeping these facts in mind, it would not be a s surprising as one thinks.
  17. so hard to tell right now. I feel like this team is going to just make many changes going into this year.
  18. 2 things I think will happen. 1. I think we shift to picking up a good RT. 2. I think in the draft we hope this guy drops and If not we go best ILB or best WR available.
  19. similar? yep! but no where near as proven
  20. oh I would not be horribly mad about this pick at all... not saying that. just not my first choice
  21. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2023/story/_/id/35931704/2023-nfl-mock-draft-mike-tannenbaum-gm-first-round-picks-five-quarterbacks Jahmyr Gibbs RB, Alabama >>>>> Sigh I just want to say the Buzz around Gibbs is getting real. While we are struggling to get a true #2 WR, some are feeling the next move for Beane is to get a true 3 down RB on this team. With an aging Diggs and still not around him, it makes sense to flip to a stronger running game with a back that has more raw talent then what we have. I am no where near 100% behind this BUT.. If holds true that the run SHOULD open up for better passing then what are the other options? Lets just assume we are done looking for a true #2 WR for the sake of argument and figure out how we can make this team into more of a running machine where we run 40% and pass 60% ++. Well lets look deeper into what we need to pull this switch off. Just for giggles, yes? 1. Short up the left side of the line. Check. 2. A solid TE. Check. 3. A RT to compete better? Hmm? 4. a PROVEN high end trusted RB out of the draft? This does not seem so hard does it? Why McD would want to make such quick changes? That is easy... He is now calling the shots on defense, and we have a OC 1 year on that McD feels he trusts that is likely saying... "If you cant get me a true #2 WR on this team then we need to change!!!" Also, it has been well documented on these boards that Beane has been chasing a RB for years that can fit this type of bill. Though I do not necessarily like this direction, at this point it may be the easier direction to go in. For how long have we said everything we do is JA and nothing else? This will get instant eyerolls, pukes and disagreements but I get it.. How many times on these boards have said... we need our Thurman Thomas? EDITED Another source also has us going RB https://walterfootball.com/draft2023charlie_1.php?rbBot
