Itheu looked pretty solid when the O is going… Seemed like for close to 3 quarters last night they wanted long time consuming drives, not really even looking down field. They didn’t look very good then. My guess is thats planned to help try to keep the D off the field.

You do know there is more than just the GM and HC scouting players? Whaleys staff was a big part of that draft and free agency. McD just didn’t show up in Buffalo and do everything himself until they hired Beane.

Do you think they kept the scouting staff until after the draft if their input wasn’t needed? McD had input just like he does every draft. The reason Whaley and the staff was kept on was because they were more prepared for free agency and the draft. If they fired them in January they would have to assemble a whole knew staff and completely start over and have little time to get ready. Smart move by McD and Pegula. I’m not saying mcd didn’t have input, but if he was such a db wizard why have we strggled the past few years when they are constantly trying to address a bad situation.

In the end he won’t be remembered for how much his players love him, it will be if he’s one a Super Bowl or not. I have no problem with his leadership, I have a problem with the system he’s running on D that’s continues to let this team down in big moments and big games.

If the coaches are so good, why are they still trying to fix the secondary? Tre, Hyde, and Poyer were the backbone of this D since McD was hired, but were all brought in when Whaley and his scouting staff were still on the payroll.

Dallas gave up like 150 yards, they gave up 4 catches to the Eagles two top WRs. Some would say the DBs had a pretty good game but Bills fans who were so happy to let Elam go want to put him down. Hahaha! Seems a bit bitter because they probably thought he’d be a disaster

I’m just sick of bringing back guys Bills let go for a reason and bringing them back after they failed on lesser teams. I’m sick of the D system and the fact it takes a Harvard grad to learn the playbook in one offseason. Sick of Beane chasing one play. At the end of last year after we came up short against the Chiefs in a one score game for the third time, he said he’d be happy if he was in the same situation next year.
