I think you can be supportive of Tyrod. I just hope you understand that the offense was kind of a joke this year. So naturally Tyrod is gonna shoulder the blame.
I understand that the delivery of peoples thoughts on Tyrod can be harsh. I know you want to defend a guy you support.
I have reasons why I would want Tyrod to not be the QB next year. It's because I don't believe his side of the ball earned the right to go to the Playoffs with the defense. Even when they got to tag along riding on the backs of the defense they put up 3 points in another game the defence handed to them so they could drop out.
The offense has had a tendency to not score points. I don't feel I'm a bad guy for feeling that way. It could be I am blaming Taylor for everything but bros I never seen him light it up this year enough to interested in another try. Even with all the excuses you could afford him.
I could be wrong. It might be possible every excuse is the reason and Tyrod is the man. I just seen enough personally to not give it another try. If you believe Tyrod is the man and a 10-3 exit from the Playoffs is excusable then we just disagree and that is fine.
Look Tyrod is a fine back up. He's proven he can come in and manage a few games enough to win. He's the elite of back up quarter backs even in my view.
almost nobody is saying the bolded there.... its the overtop idiotic irrational posting about him by a select few people that keep these threads going this long.
and I don't think anyone was riding that defense into the playoffs this year. it was horribly inconsistent and most of their rankings were at the bottom of the barrel. just like the offense. the team got to the playoffs becuz they had a knack for turnovers and not turning it over. taylor played a part in that.... in fact, other than that I don't think the team was very good at all and that worries me going forward becuz rarely can a team depend on large amounts of TO's year in and year out.
its very simple for me. I dunno why people go all postal on him. he's won more than he's lost over the last 3 years with inconsistent targets and an inconsistent defense. IMO that's more than a backup qb could do in the nfl. BUT he's basically shown his ceiling. its not enough. its time to move on.
..... its just the handful of people, one of which started this thread, that have clear agendas and cant formulate rational thoughts on taylor.

Crusher will never let it go. He is madly in love with Taylor - and won't come out of the closet. The guy is literally all he wants to talk about. Extreme man crush.
the funniest part is he's using bortles as an example and his stat line was very tyrod-esque.... it was a very poor attempt at trying to get a point across.

yup, the obsession of pumping Taylor up is funny.
The city of Buffalo will be dancing in the streets when he's cut.
I know it may be hard for you to believe it but you and a handful of others with over the top irrational views are the only ones that would be doing this... lets not lump rational fans into that category. while most realize we need to move on, your thoughts on the issue are not the majority.... and thank god for that.

Hey man all I said is Tyrod has had a new OC EVERY SEASON and the COT jumped to sugar coat
it wasn't sugar coating.... its calling you out when you say dumb things and act like he got all 3 fired when that wasn't the case.... my god you're awful.
5 minutes ago, SouthNYfan said:Except the bills were
-32nd in pass attempts
-30th in pass yards
-27th in passing TD
-30th in passing 1st downs
Lynn didn't throw the ball because he know tyrod was a tire fire.
right.... top ten scoring offenses and tire fires have a lot of similarities.

He is still here. Haha, I bet the COT is real cool with it. I am not cool with it at all.
actually I doubt anyone that's arguing with you is that cool with it..... you just say really really really dumb things and so you get argued with.

I'm honestly not trying to be a dbag
Valid question
Are you defending Tyrod, by saying nobody would succeed with that kind of OC turnover, so give him another shot?
Or are you smashing Tyrod, saying it's his fault he's killing OCs careers?
(Valid questions btw, I really cannot figure out which side you are on)
lol. you havnt been around long enough then.... i'll let you watch how things play out and figure it out.

Haha, now you stank?
No matter how you sugar coat it,
Did Tyrod have a new OC EVERY SEASON?
were the bills top ten in scoring? did lynn get fired? it was the effectiveness of that offense that got lynn his HC job. my god you're bad.
you realize how dumb this makes you look right? just stop. its awful. its a new low for you and I didn't think that was possible.

I didn't think anyone could be that stupid.

Facts are a new OC EVERY SEASON that is all I need to say about it. You trying to paint a pretty picture still shows the same thing, a new OC EVERY SEASON
dude... lynn got promoted. don't act like taylor got him fired.... are you honestly that simple?

Once again if that’s all if you have to say to my post just take the L.
I gave you facts and a detailed response, and if that’s all you have to say then just please stop
he's also the same guy that pitched a fit after the colts game when taylor got the nod and swore we wouldn't win another game all year and that taylor would probably be getting bench by halftime of the home fins game.... he's not all there man.

Truth is he's the QB of the team that broke the drought regardless of how you try to downplay it.
i'm still trying to wrap my head around his new OC every year comment.... lynn got promoted becuz of what he got out of taylor and the offense. how on earth does somebody spin that into pretending taylor got him canned?
rush is honestly one of the worst posters ive ever encountered. I've been off the board for a couple days and sure enough I see his ignorance right in the top thread of the page. good lord.

Last year this team in the 15 games with TT as the starter was THIRD in the NFL in TD's scored behind only Atlanta and the Saints. It was one of the highest scoring teams in Buffalo history. The 2 year period BEOFRE RICO was the 3rd highest scoring 2 year period in Bills history. The Bills run game was the best in the entire NFL in yards and yards per carry. TT led offense averaged 26 points per game, scored over 25 points 10 times in 15 games. Our Points Per Game dropped SIX POINTS (which is a massive amount) under Rico, and honestly it really dropped 8 if you factor out the games TT didn't play in last year and this year.
ALL you can focus on is rush TOTAL ranking...you realize TOTALS do NOT show EFFECTIVENESS right? Or do you just want to ignore common sense because in every conversation you have only 1 agenda, make it about TT at all costs?
RICO drastically reduced the effectiveness of our run game. Our TOTALS are still strong because A) Shady is very talented can overcome even an idiot of an OC to still be effective and B) Because we still ran the ball a TON. But that does NOT in ANY WAY mean we still ran the ball as effectively and could keep putting points on the board...you know those things that determine who wins the game in the NFL?
So sorry, RICO sucks, set this offense back significantly. TT made his OWN mistakes...it has nothing to do with how poorly RICO performed this year comparatively to the last 2 years. Im glad the weak link in a strong staff is gone. We are going to be bringing in a new QB through Draft, Trade, or FA and the new OC coming in now can now contribute to the decisions based on what they want to do with the offense.
Bye RICO, nothing personal, but you suck.
bolded says it all.

Neither were good enough and the Bills are trying to move on from both.
simple as this..... certain people are so hung up on blaming taylor that they'll give everyone else a pass though.... and if you do happen to blame anyone else then it must mean you want taylor back.
bring in the new OC you would like to have. give him a list of free agents and rookies and say "who do we need to get for you to make this a productive offense" and start fresh.

The OL & QB were part of the previous, more successful offenses! The season before we were so strapped for WRs that we hired Percy Harvin out of retirement for $2M. Dennison performed horribly and absolutely deserved to be fired.
theres nothing you can say to the guy that's gonna make a difference.... no amount of sense is gonna do it.

Which team will TT be choking on? It won’t be Buffalo.
the guys that bag on tyrod relentlessly have a hard time with blaming anyone but him. so even though we all know taylor hasn't done enough and wont be back, the minute somebody blames the OC for anything it must mean that individual wants taylor back.

His year wasn't fireable.
Enjoy watching a whole new scheme AGAIN. Can't wait for TT to choke up and down the field for the first 4 weeks and get excused because he's still learning.
his year was ENTIRELY fireable. took the exact same personnel of top 10 scoring offense and it dropped into the basement. i'm so sick of coaches insisting on system over playing to strength of players.
and i'm seriously doubting tyrod is back. so don't lump me into any group that is blaming dennison becuz I wanna see taylor back. it is, however, fairly easy to lump you into the group that will blame taylor for anything and everything as the rest of the offense and OC gets a pass.

Thanks.
so you honestly think dennison did a good job on the year? seriously? SERIOUSLY?

Keep on believing in Taylor as you must.
Me, I wish him well with his new team.
you don't have to believe in taylor to know that dennison was a problem. the poster you responded to isn't wrong.

I've always liked how clean and crisp the chiefs uni's look. the saints all blacks. and I've always thought the packers looked clean a classy.

Yeah not even close. Rational is one thing but the name calling is ok as long as it geared toward the posters you do not like, right?. I get it man the best way to shut up the negative is to discredit them and throw in a few name calling, it's the same tactic used on the BBMB and brought over here. Have a good day.
i'm fairly certain I didn't use any names for you in either of my posts here that had anything to do with you. am I missing something?
was it the Pollock calling the lot of you bastards? lol
I hope this weekend finally kills the "build an offense around Tyrod" nonsense.

ej and trent didn't have winning records or go to the playoffs. but I wouldn't expect you to be able to use any sense in the matter. so whatever man.
keep spewing your garbage around here.... it only makes you look ridiculous.
