    Right on man.

I like how I am the bad guy all the time, how dare I say anything bad about the all mighty savior, the great playoff QB that took us single handedly to the playoffs and does no wrong. Never the QBs fault in this passing league, always everyone elses. 3 years running. How dare I have a different opinion.

exactly what I was referring to. thanks for this.

you live in extremes. and this is honestly how you see it anytime anyone takes up for the guy. you cant talk about him rationally. literally nobody claims the bolded on this board but anytime somebody has called you on your dramatic over the top nonsense about him you go into this worthless diatribe.

that being said. i'm waiting with anticipation to see the direction they go with the position this year. its time to turn the page..... its just not nearly the sad story you make it out to be. not even close.

EDIT: FTR I get some of it may be sarcasm but at what point, after you literally do it all the time, is it not considered sarcasm anymore?

How is it that you single out Tyrod for this.      Dennison is old enough to be Tyrod's father.   And he is the coach.    What about the QB coach?   What about the head coach?   Why aren't you sharing the blame where it belongs?

Tyrod could have noticed it sure.   But friggin nobody did.   And those other guys have WAY more experience than Tyrod breaking down defenses.    You are blaming Tyrod just because you are a hater.   You aren't being objective about it at all.   Realistically it is a complete COACHING fail.

If the coaches come out and say they did notice it and did integrate that into the game plan and Tyrod just ignored it, well then okay - Tyrod's fault.   I didn't hear anyone say that.  Did you?

I hate defending Tyrod now because I think he flat out sucked in that game.   You bastards make it impossible to ignore though because of your incessant blame on him for anything and everything that isn't Tom Brady perfect.   WTF man?  WTF?

he's one of the worst to talk to around here when it comes to being rational about taylor. don't bother with him.....

and your last statement is exactly how I feel. I don't even like going to bat for taylor becuz I've been soooo over him for so long now but there are certain people that say the most idiotic things and then I find myself arguing for taylor over and over again. you hit the nail on the head with all of this post.

Dennison's play calling was putrid in the red zone pretty much all year.

Tyrod also sucks in the red zone. You need to be able to throw balls in tight windows that get much tighter down inside the 20. You also need to be able to throw guys open with anticipation. He's terrible at both of those things. As much as Peterman sucked, he actually completed a great fade on the goaline in the snow. Tyrod can't make that throw.

Did his play calling suck because he was limited by his quarterback?  I hope we never find out because they both need to get kicked to the curb.

redzone offense last year was top 10 if i'm not mistaken. don't mistake that as me making excuses for taylor.... but dennison has to be held accountable for that decline.

So Tyrod sits on the bench for 4 years not good enough to start for the team that drafted him but Peterman gets grilled for starting his rookie season. Come on man, Peterman is on this roster next season on that rookie contract IMO.

he's stating if they draft a rookie like we all want and sign a vet that Peterman might be the odd man out.... whats so hard to believe there? depends on if you believe we carry 2 or 3 active qb's

I was watching videos popping up on twitter with all the Bills fans in Jax, and even I was beyond sick of hearing the !@#$ing Shout "heeeeeEEEEyyyyy" over and over and over and over again.  Seriously, 30 seconds couldn't go by without someone starting that damn chant.

I concur.... I got it out of my system very quick and then it grew a bit tiresome.

Nobody circles the away games like the Buffalo Bills fans.

if I here "duuuvvaalll" one more time I might punch my sweet innocent toddler in the face...... but I guess one could assume they feel the same way about "LETS GO BUFFALO!"

Hypothetically speaking if Bevell is hired here.....Josh Allen might fit that mold.

my buddy just sent me an allen highlight vid yesterday. i'll be the first to admit I havnt seen enough of him to make any real judgement on him but O. M. G. the darts he throws while on the run. good lord its pretty. like, "how is that physically possible" sort of throws.... now after the initial awe of the plays wore off I understood that some of those are easy picks for nfl defenders but that still didn't stop me from popping like ten boners. I also caught the first half of his bowl game and watched in plop a 55 yarder into his wr's lap in stride at the endzone......... BONERS!

    what an intriguing prospect.

Sign me up. Checks my major box of developing a young QB

this was my immediate thought... has already developed a qb from relying on the run game and d to being a guy that can single handedly take over games on his own. and as an OC he seems to be ok with calling either type of game, depending on strengths of the unit.

In those years we were 25th and 26th in passing offense, I believe.

We've NEVER been a good passing offense under Taylor, and that's a fact.

And now you are changing it from offense to pass offense. Becuz you were wrong the first time..... have a good day.

    Enhoy being right.

    So wait, which is it?

Did he have limited weapons in 2015, 2016, or 2017?

Because we hear from people around here that Sammy Watkins is all-world.

Well, in 2015/2016 he had Clay, Watkins, Woods, Goodwin and McCoy...and the offense sucked.

    So what's the next-level excuse?

Well first off the offense didn’t suck in 15 and 16. Not even close. And health was the huge issue for those players those years. At this point I’m seeing you aren’t much for using reason and sense in this discussion so I think we are done here.

Let’s hope they can carry out a better plan for the position this time around.

  10. 1 minute ago, joesixpack said:

he is hot garbage. And had the team realized it TWO YEARS AGO, this wouldn't have been an issue.

I get it, you like the guy personally. He's a nice guy. He sucks as a QB.

Nah. I’m not that invested in him. And this is the trash being posted that I’m talking about.

For me the bottom line is the man has won more than he’s lost over a 3 year span while dealing with limited weapons and a defense that’s routinely been in the bottom half of the league.

Piles of hot garbage don’t win more than they lose. And they definitely don’t do it without a top defense.

So the reason you get “guff” is becuz you day stupid things and then when the team suffers you revel in it for the sake of being right. And all of that stuff sucks. So you should stop

  11. 1 minute ago, joesixpack said:

You're right, but when you've taken the guff I have from the get go, you get to push back when you're proven correct.

And enjoy the failures of the qb and the team apparently.... at least they lost and taylor

sucked so you could be right. Have fun bud. I’ve been ready to move on for over a year and was praying I would be wrong. The reason people give you and others guff. Isn’t becuz we disagree he may not be the answer it’s becuz of the over the top posts and views on the guy being a pile of hot garbage.

    Pathetic dude. Seriously.

  12. 46 minutes ago, joesixpack said:

    Well that’s like...your opinion, man.

i for one am enjoying the fact that I WAS right the moment I knew the guy was a bum after the giants game a few years

Wow. This says a lot about you. Nobody should enjoy this. I’ve been ready to move on from him since last season and was hoping I was 100% wrong all year.

    42 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

Nuh uh man, I was right at the beginning of October 2015.

Oh wait :o. that's the same time!  ;)

    (sarcasm people)

Actually, it started with the Bengals game with EJ's loss.  Even with his 0-4 record the offense still was scoring over 20 ppg in '15.  As bad as EJ was with INT's the team was still producing points.

[now watch here comes the hate]

Your posts and comments on Taylor are so all over the place from week to week ranging from just obnoxious and ignorant to reasonable. There’s no way to take anything you say seriously.

  13. 1 minute ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

we would argue a lot about Taylor, then during the 3 game uglyfest the switch got flipped.  I started to believe in Taylor then bam the door hit me in the face. Now we are both ready to move on and we feel we don't need to make excuses of the poor play at QB.

IIRC I heard that there are at least 2 QB's still in the playoffs w/o stellar receivers.  Bortles and Mariotta

lol.... we could talk about how many qb's could make the playoffs if they had the jags run game and defense. but that's for another day and I think you know the answer to it. you're just arguing for the sake of it there. which is fine. but we both know why the jags were in the playoffs and why they won sunday..... and mariota had a downright bad season. so whatever.

  14. 4 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

you are aware that @DaBillsFanSince1973 was a huge Taylor fan up until mid October

well ive never been a huge fan of taylors. but that doesn't mean I gotta be cool with some of the nonsense about the guy that gets tossed around here.

i'm not saying he specifically is doing. I just mean in general.

  15. 10 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

in all fairness Transplant did have his betting threads where after a win people agreed to not criticize him.   ;)

I will stats again that those who pump TT up unnecessarily often get the feedback.  The same for the flip side. The Savior Peterman's also bring ridicule for their trash.

its very simple for me. its a qb that won more games than he lost with limited weapons and a defense that was as inconsistent as the offense, if not more so, during his tenure here and he was the qb to take the team to the playoffs after 17 years. he's flawed and limited and we need to move on. tyrod was part of getting the franchise moving in the right direction and now they need to take bigger steps to keep rolling. but the garbage I've seen on this board about him is absurd. he just hasn't been nearly as bad as people make him out to be. no way.

i'm excited to see what the plan is going forward. I hope we don't just cut ties with him with no real bridge in place and draft a rookie and toss him to the dogs. I pray they have a veteran in mind that will feel at home with dennisons system.... I wont hold my breath on a rookie coming in and winning..

Everyone is ready to move on from their QB if you have something better.   But we don't

well there needs to be a very clear direction involved with regards to that and I have confidence they already have something in mind. its just time to move on.

but I agree. i'm not ready to move on just for the sake of it, if there is an immediate option that's at least of equal value. with any scenario I would like to see a qb drafted early.

Now I'm curious. What do YOU think a football message board should look like? What topics are we allowed to discuss? I hope that by asking this I'm not acting like "complete sludge."

its not the topic. its the majority of the posters that flocked to said topic and the idiotic stuff they've spouted for weeks now about the qb involved.

some of which have been sooo very quiet after wins or our playoff birth only to pounce at the new opportunity to bash the qb and toss out the "I told you so"

  18. i'm ready to move on from taylor and have been since last year before the draft... I think everyone basically is now.

with that being said. this thread is literally filled with the bottom of the bin when it comes to posters on this board. an all star cast of "I told you so" posters or just crappy posters in general.

    complete sludge in here.
