  1. After watching some video of Matthews there is one noticeable difference in Matthews vs Sammy. Emotion!!!! Matthews at times looks like he plays with fire in him. Sammy is well Sammy. I'll never say potential wise Matthews has more. But consistency being on the field, health dependability etc I gotta go Matthews. But I like a player who plays with emotion. I'm pulling for him. I liked Sammy but things are done and it's time to move on. This may turnout to be awesome.
  2. I thought Sammy has lost a step, his route running looks very choppy and methodical. Ultimately this team is being built for the 2019 & 2020 season. I like it. 6 picks in first 3 rounds. And at this point right now, this very second you couldn't convince me Sammy is better than Jordan Matthews. Potential maybe? Health and consistency? No way!
  3. Am I the only one who feels this team got no worse after these trades??? We were a 9-7 team before and still are. But the future is much brighter. Why all the complaining?
  4. Great point. I love the possibility of 7 picks in top 3 rounds.
  5. Seems as if the new Buffalo regime want their guys.... and draft picks. Do they keep Holmes? 1. Boldin 2. Matthews 3. Jones 4. Streater 5. Brown 6. Tate Suspended - Powell
  6. Truly I think Sammy has lost a step. Very deliberate with each step as if he's favoring that foot. My heart of hearts tells me he injures that foot again this year.
  7. I look at it like this.... Sammy Watkins for Jordan Matthews and 2nd Rd pick Ronald Darby for EJ Gaines and 3rd round pick. Potentially Bills could have two 1st, two 2nds and three 3rds I actually like the trades.... I didn't trust Sammys foot and don't think Darby fit the zone scheme.
  8. He will sit out all week won't play, Shady will play 1-2 series next week and 3rd game as well. JWil will play a 1-2 series week 3 like Shady and both will be shut down til week 1 regular season.
  9. The only thing I can say is in McDermotts Defense you need a rotation of 7-8 Dlinemen and 5-6 Lbers that constantly rotate, especially the DLine. They stay fresh and can constantly fly around. That being said, Ragland will get plenty of shots to prove himself this year. Health I hate to say it, but it's always a factor. Raglands trade value now is a 7th round pick. I see him being a gamer! Humber not so much, but we will see. Playing the game on game day isn't practice. That being said on offense, Andre Holmes is a gamer too, wait and see.
  10. I want to hear more about Logan Thomas.... How does he look? Size, speed, fluidity, athleticism etc. Does he have a future here as the #3 TE and does he have the potential in the transition such as Prior?
  11. @CincyTampa Bay Oakland @LA Chargers @Miami Those are 3 road games that are tough but winnable and Tampa and Oakland are home games that will be our toughest but winnable. Extra... The Denver game I feel we can and will win. Their QB situation, New coach etc doesn't have me believing they are the same Denver team in the past, Von Miller is a beast but that's about all. I guess how I've broken it down is... Games we should win (7 games) Games we should lose (4 games) And Tough games That are winnable (5 games) I do realize they are all tough games but those are the specifics I'm looking at imo. That being said we could easily lose those 5 games and be 7-9.
  12. Games 5-7. So many perfectionist here. I know you know what I meant you just wanted to correct me, thanks I'm an idiot Yes they are thanks. Just trying to spur up some conversation here. But I guess the thread should have been about the 16 most critical games this year. That would have been fun.
  13. The Bills could easily go .500 this year But the 5 games I feel are the most critical are Week 5-7. The first 3 games are winnable. Week 4 at Atlanta not so much But 5-7 are huge!!! @ Cincinnati, Tampa then Oakland at home. next 2 games are later in the season, @Chargers and @ Miami. Buffalo needs to win at minimum 3 of those 5 to have a chance for Wildcard, of those 5 the easiest games may be the 3 away games but I feel they are winnable. Losses I have (no chance) are @Atlanta, @Kansas City and Both New England games. The rest I feel the Bills have a chance, but weeks 5-7 could tell the story then obviously the final 5 weeks with 4 division games. That being said the Bills may slip in with a 10-6 record being 4 of those 5 games are AFC games.
  14. Would like Maclin for sure. But we need DE and S depth. Who is the 3rd DE and or S? I know the answer I just don't like it. Plus TE is sketchy at best.
  15. Throw some more incentive $ at Barnidge. Honestly I don't think Barnidge has a chance to be a #1 TE, at this time. Maybe he is waiting for injuries to happen or to stay healthy himself. But as it stands now I could see him starting 25% of our games cause Clay will be out or questionable. Even with Clay I can see Barnidge meeting the 40 receptions, 350-400 yds, 5 TDs. I truly feel Barnidge may be equal too Clay. Clay is obviously better, but less dependable and never practices during the season.
  16. So if Barnidge signs, does that further complicate things?????
  17. Thank you. He's been at it all day. Needs banned.
  18. You're such a douche! I thought you said you talked football here. Not on a single post have you said anything football related. What are you 12? Seriously you can't be more than 16 years old.
  19. Yeah feel free. Being I didn't make anything up. Do what you want, that's the difference between you and I. I don't care who is right or wrong etc. Just want to talk football and bills. Back to my original response. The Bills have been conducting business poorly throughout the years. The same ole stuff year in and year out. It hasn't worked. The Einstein quote was found online. I liked it, I used it, it fit my narrative. That's it. If you wanna play historian and play correction games on grammar, spelling or correct individuals beliefs or post feel free to do what you want. It's just folks that just wanna talk sports, football and Bills won't care for you. But good find on the Washington quote. Beane has done a great job imo thus far. Seems like a lot of fire and experience surrounding this team. I would like to think it's all gonna pay off. Plus I'm a guy that thinks this may be Brady's last year. I hate to say it but due to injury.
  20. Great accomplishment. You really feed off this stuff don't you. If you ever have anything intelligent to say about football or this team I'll be waiting.
  21. Well in your original response you said he, being Einstein "probably" never said that... so I'm doing you a favor by saying in you using probably means you don't have a clue. Are you the guy that corrects people all the time not even knowing if you're correct in the first place just cause you like hearing the sound of your voice? My point is... you're that guy on the message board that knows no more than any other guy but you portray yourself as some kind of Guinness and everyone should just listen and follow. Who cares if I used a quote that I perceive Einstein to had used and it fits the narrative of my feelings? Seriously? Who cares... I like the quote and for all I know Einstein said it. Whether he did or not doesn't bother me as much as it obviously bothers you. Hey, call coach McDermott and tell him how you feel about quotes. To never use them in any of his speeches. Cause "your" society finds them not worth while.
  22. Exactly the whole league has taken notice of the changes in Buffalo and have applauded them. A big reason they've noticed is because it's unlike Buffalo to make since of things and look as if they are trying to build something special vs hiring a .500 coach from Syracuse, Rex Ryan, a GM that after 4 years thought EJ was still the future. It's been a mess for 15 years now and they see positivity and change at one Bills drive.
  23. Just build an offense that fits each individuals strength. Playing to Tyrods strengths are most important this year. Which Denniodons style does, whichbis a big reason they kept him. The running style will change but Dennison said he saw things that worked great for this offense so he will stick with a few things.
  24. Be careful on spreading how you feel. LikeI've will attack you and spread his knowledge on how andcwhat he believes socieryvshould act. You know, how know it Alls act, immature. Heaven forbid you share a quote. I too believe things are going in a different direction. A better direction. A direction players will feel and latch onto.
