Thank goodness he is, if that’s the case. Chiefs have the playoff recipe. Refs allow physicality in the outside, so the Chiefs push the limits on CB/WR physicality. Refs allow OL holding far more in the Playoffs. So the Chiefs OL holds and on Defense, they get pressure through brute strength with Chris Jones. Cant effectively hold a guy who’s pushing you back into the QB.

Coleman definitely seems like a late round fantasy flyer. Dude could have a ton of TD’s. I’m just not sure of his usage between the 20’s. Glad to see MVS getting more involved. Nothing against the feel good stories, but I’ve seen MVS in the playoffs and want that on our team, regardless of a down year with the drops. I really want Elam to start. He has elite physical talent. If his technique and mind are right, he’ll make this incredibly difficult for Babich/McDermott. I just don’t know how you bench Benford as he’s too good. Maybe they go with a 3 man CB rotation dependent upon schemes? I know he’ll likely play a bunch regardless, but I’d like to see our most physically gifted CB actually starting at some point.

Why “yikes”.. she identifies as Indian when it’s politically expedient and then identifies as black when it’s politically expedient. If she’s going to make her entire campaign based on being a cultural black icon, it’s worth pointing out (not to the extent the Trump campaign is though). Jamaicans don’t, as a culture, view themselves as black. Some do. Some don’t. Same with Bahamians. To say, oh, of course, she’s black.. she’s part Jamaican doesn’t register as oh, well obviously, for everyone. (Including many in the black community) If she wants to lean into it, fine.. but she very clearly does this for political expedience. Im Polish and Italian. She’s Indian and Jamaican. If she wants to identify culturally as black, so be it. But her entire candidacy is based around her identity, so people are going to attack it. Do we consider all Caribbean descent as black? They’re not African-American, it would have to be broader black category. Dominicans are as black as Jamaicans and don’t identify as black.. why? Haitians are blacker. Puerto Ricans would rather die than be labeled black & typically identify as white/hispanic. Same with Cubans.

Look at this guy.. straight out 2004 with his talking points. Most of us are completely fine with people living their truth as adults. Leave the kids alone and keep men out of women’s spaces. Why is it a knock on the Giants that they listed a player as a character concern who happened to pass away? Seems to align quite a bit with how we viewed guys like Bishop/Carter.. Would you be upset with Beane for listing him as a character concern?

The strange thing is, Trump is hitting 50%+ in some of the new polling, which prior to this past week was a moonshot. He was around 46-47% to a cratering Biden in the 30’s. However, as you point out, generic Dem is now Kamala Harris and what remains to be seen is does she have a higher ceiling than some polling showing her +2 in Trump or is that a high water mark… because that probably won’t be enough to beat him, unless she pulls a Trump 2016 and narrowly wins in the swing states.

The cross tabs in this polling all seem believable, aside from Trump getting 27% of the black vote. He wins in a landslide if that’s the case.

I honestly could see Beasley saying that. Cole loves Josh, but is also brutally honest in his opinions online.. let alone in private to someone like Edelman. There's more to accuracy then just hitting the target. There's also leading a player, which shoulder to put it on etc.., and I wouldn't be shocked if Jones was more accurate in the short/intermediate on those throws. Now, the Allen we've seen highlights of in camp.. it looks like he's laser focused on that part of his game.

We can complain about this all we want.. they win elections. This isn’t 1960. Get yourself a Grade A candidate who can rally the people and put in the work. This is 2024. Use your allies in media and celeb culture to manufacture a glam campaign bereft of policy or vision. Then organize a ballot harvesting campaign to take advantage of the low info voters you’ve mesmerized. Off the heels of the same strategy in 2020, only substitute glam/glitz with hiding/basement. R’s better figure out how to deal with this.. and fast.

Most NFL pundits that aren't hot take artists are starting to admit it's Mahomes.. Allen.. and everyone else. And the reason there's a gap between Mahomes and Allen is due to the Super Bowl rings. While I think Allen has gotten such a raw deal from his teammates and coaches, in comparison to Mahomes.. there are certain things Allen can, and should, take ownership of. The main one, for me, is consistency. Mahomes, prior to last year, is always good, usually great. That baseline can be the difference between then 1 seed, a bye, easier path and the 2,3,4 seed etc. Two years ago, KC had a bye, Jax, then played the winner of Buf/Cin. Both Buffalo and Cinci came into that Divisional Game beat up and in the AFC CG, those injuries for CIN began to show. That 1 seed mattered a whole lot.
