I feel like, maybe hope.. that when Diggs is gone, Josh Allen truly becomes that type of leader and I have a feeling that when Diggs is no longer here.. Kincaid becomes an absolute superstar.
-
If you time it right.. you can eat a big dead cap year in a year where you draft a rookie QB .. or eat the dead cap the year after you move off your Franchise QB, be terrible, and then have a ton of cap and a high draft pick to rebuild. The Bills, Chiefs, Bengals etc won’t likely be dealing with the end of the road portion until Mahomes, Allen and Burrow are gone.

Lol..

I felt this way until this past year. Hes part of the problem. You’re not elite unless you do it in the playoffs… and he’s had enough time to show us he can or cannot. He cannot. He’s just another player around Josh Allen that doesn’t step up when it matters against KC.

For whatever this is worth.

Knowing our future cap is in better shape, I think we’d pull the levers on Oliver and say, extend Taron Johnson, allowing us to sign a Safety and a few rotational DL. Yup.. It would be a major overhaul. Would be a Josh Allen rents a house in Cali and all the WR’s live with him for a few weeks type of summer. Im just saying, if there was ever a draft class to pull this trigger and double dip early (only if the return is RD2, at least) this is the one. And I only think it’s done with Josh Allen’s blessing, so on the off chance it happens .. I’d think there truly is a fracture between them.

If I was Beane.. I make it known a 2 & 4 gets it done, and I’d listen if someone countered with a 2 & 5.. or just a 2 depending on how high. Then I draft two WR’s in the first 2 Rounds. Ideal in a Super Bowl window year? No, but I’m expecting Kincaid and Shakir to come into their own in Year 2 / Year 3 respectively. A healthy Knox and the addition of Curtis Samuel should all make Allen’s life easier in the short to intermediate. Then develop chemistry with your drafted outside guys + some Mack Hollins as the season goes on. RD1 - AD Mitchell RD2 - Keon Coleman (for example) At least we’re choosing one of the best WR classes in recent history to do this in. But if the return is anything less than a 2.. nah.. I’d need something back that allows me to reasonably double dip at the top end of the WR class.

I’ll trade him for a RD1 or RD2 & another pick. Diggs is not those guys. Even some of us who are down on him know that the perception of Diggs is much higher than the three you just listed. Teams know what we have to eat to trade him. Diggs knows as well. So he can be as cryptic as he wants.. he signed the contract and he played the way he played last year. Either there’s a market or there’s not, but we’re not giving him away. He’s not friggin Diontae Johnson.

Some of us are just wishcasting that there is smoke to this.. Im not upset, im hopeful.

I could see a team like Dallas or Houston doing this. Teams that feel locked and loaded for a run and don’t want to take a risk on a draft pick or feel he’s the missing piece. Now, you could say that for us too.. but we’ve been through multiple runs with him and he’s pulled disappearing acts in all of them.

I aspire in life to become a Top 20 Trend Nationally on X because I posted “ready for watever”. He’s officially become the story of the NFL right now.

This guy apparently has some connections for Houston area teams. Reading through his replies on other posts, people trust him. He just reposted this.

Nobody is saying this “over a tweet” Hes been on some weird vibes since the Bengals game and a lot of us would absolve him of it if he didn’t choke in the playoffs, getting sonned by Snead every year.
-
If we believe Josh Allen is that dude (and he is), we can eat the couple mil extra and trade him. This dude is exhausting, has yet to once step up in a big playoff game and his play last half of the year does not warrant the constant weird vibes from him. If we can get a RD1 pick, I’m trading him. Dallas seems logical with his brother after Jerry Jones comments about going “all in” and proceeding to do nothing so far. Do I think that’s what this is about? No. Do I think we’re trading him? No. But Diggs knows what he’s doing and it’s beyond tiresome.
-
It’s not a 1 for 1, but I see the WR room as follows: Diggs (outside) Samuel (slot) RD1 or RD2 WR (outside) Shakir (inside/outside) We can move all of them around, but if we draft a guy high, I think Shakir becomes a heavy use WR4 rotating in all over the field.

Controlled Demolition of the Country we know
SCBills replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Most people are just trying to go to work, feed their family and get by. When they see a blurb about migrant crisis on the news.. ok, but I have my own ish to deal with. My kid has practice and I have a deadline to meet for this work project. Forced to observe random race driven programs and recognize pronouns? Ok, weird.. but I gotta keep this job so, whatever. Why is my insurance so high, interest rates so high, groceries doubling? It’s a slow boil. Frog in the pot. They won’t realize, and for some valid reasons, until it’s too late. And when they do realize.. sadly they’ll turn to those in power to save them. Because who else will when they have no money and no means of protecting their family? -
Controlled Demolition of the Country we know
SCBills replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It’s hard to get this through to normal people who don’t really follow politics, but they’ll soon find out if we don’t change course. It doesn’t affect you, until it affects you. Can’t afford anything? By design. Don’t feel safe? By design. Racial division? By design. And it will only get worse. -
The only thing that somewhat protected us is that so many Hispanics are of Judeo-Christian views. Even though illegal immigration is a major issue, the ones coming here without bad intentions blend into the fabric of this country moral core. That’s not been the case in Europe, which sees major clashes now between traditional European western values and Islam. Enter the Haitian crisis. If we import hundreds of thousands of Haitians.. good luck to the people living wherever they go. There’s good people there, of course, but the Dominican Republic doesn’t even want anything to do with them.. and we think we can assimilate them into American cities?

That’s what this is. The entire Biden Admin has been doing this from jump. They label Trump the chaos agent, when it’s all projection. The racial division, the open borders, the inflationary spending. Create chaos and the government will come in to save us. Create chaos, tear it down, and rebuild it with something else. That’s the Marxist Agenda at work. It’s beyond clear that there is an agenda at work here. This stuff is calculated. Its a controlled demolition of our country we know, to replace it with something new, something surely more reliant upon the government. There’s no other explanation at this point. The most recent example of a never ending list…

This is part of the reason why it’s been so maddening that we spend money on so much vet depth … Bills FO & Coaching Staff, yall are actually really good at drafting & developing Day 3/UDFA talent. This doesn’t even factor in guys like Alex Austin that other teams have invested in when we couldn’t roster them.

This is such an indictment of last years room, but I think you’re correct. Diggs = Diggs Shakir = Shakir Samuel > Davis Hollins > Harty Diggs is a year older, but Shakir entering Year 3 should be coming into his own. Gabe Davis is a solid WR, but not what we need .. his skillset is just far too inconsistent and limited in the passing game. Hollins isn’t anything amazing, but he is a big target down the field who is capable of making a few catches per game if you need him. We’re an early round WR investment away from having a room with the potential to exceed the Diggs, Beasley, Sanders, Davis year.
