All true….but my comments still stand. The renderings are disjointed. As a guy who creates images just like these for a living you have to understand that the ‘entourage’ (people, trees, furniture, and cars) are not part of the architect’s design. They’re simply dropped in from a catalog of stock images. My point is that the entourage doesn’t match the interiors…at all! If you replace the scruffy looking Bills fans with stock images of people in dress clothes from a higher end restaurant, I think you’d find it all fits together much better.

My comments are purely about the aesthetic….not the experience.

Yes, very nice. But does it look like the interiors of a venue where a bunch of bundled up people just came inside from a snowstorm? No, they don’t. I’m wondering if the designers have ever been to Buffalo.

I’ll put my architect hat on for a second: The aesthetic looks COMPLETELY out of touch with the WNY game day experience. Every space looks really dark, which isn’t a good thing in an area that’s known for cloud cover. The spaces, furnishings and materials, while certainly trendy, appear to be completely inappropriate for the people that they copied and pasted into renderings. Do any of those ‘fans’ look like they are either comfortable or belong there?

And you drew that conclusion from a rendering of a concession stand?

Josh Allen has thrown a grand total of THREE passes this preseason. And that’s all he’s going throw since it appears like he’s not playing on Saturday either. I have no idea how people are evaluating the WRs based on THREE passes from the ONLY guy who’s going to be throwing them the ball in a few weeks.

Is the kid a walk on? Sure….but it’s not like he was a college wrestler or British rugby player. He played LB at D1 university. I’m pretty sure he understands the basic skillset for both run and pass defense. Will he make the roster? Who knows? But there wouldn’t be a need for this thread if he wasn’t the stand out he clearly was on Saturday night.

I have literally no idea why we’re talking about WRs when Josh didn’t play, Mitch was clueless, and DiNucci hadn’t read the playbook. There’s less than ZERO point evaluating wideouts based on last night. What I liked from the group had nothing to do with play but instead from the tape measure…..geez the new guys are tall!

Bills fans got so accustomed to timid LB play watching Edmunds sit back and do next to nothing for years, that all of the current crop are a breath of fresh air for sure!

No argument from me! At least for 2024 the Bills are completely dependent on Josh Allen. But I think going into the offseason, we all knew and accepted it. Do I agree with that as a long term strategy?. No, I don’t.

I have zero concerns at RB. All of them are serviceable in the modern NFL. The success or failure of this offense rides on the middle of the OL and the entire WR group.

I was kidding of course, and I have to give the Bills D a ton of props for battling against Wilson and Fields…both of who are VERY experienced.
