I dont think its the being on the field part thats the problem.
I think the biggest issue is the mental state if things go wrong.
The QB can lose faith, change his game to a fault. Players and coaches can give up on the QB.
Lotta outside factors.
We might regress as a total offense. Lets say we cant pass the ball because our line cant block......Tyrod would at least be able to use his legs.
The safety net of his legs were able to keep the chains moving. Now obviously if we can get decent passing the sticks will move naturally with the QBs arm.
We will get a better idea this year just how important Tyrods legs were to the offense.
Dallas vs Bills Monday Night game. 1st one in a while...blew it.
Vince Young vs the Bills that ended our playoff hopes.
Losing to a back up Steelers roster to miss the playoffs.
Agreed. I think anyone with a brain would understand the situation the teams that got a top QB were in.
With all those guys there and available...its makes the most sense to draft/trade up and not sell the farm. Imagine if Cleveland was picking 1st and didnt need a QB and only Josh Allen came out that year. I will guarantee you a team would have made some farm selling offers for that pick.
The value was too good to pass up.
Now if Josh Rosen becomes elite and Allen busts....there will be backlash.
He hired a serious defense atty from what I heard.
This guy is screwed. If those robbers really only took the jewelry Mccoy was trying to get back.....not only is his NFL career over...but he could be lookin at some serious jail time if they link him.
Honestly I didnt even care about the 5 pick game. He got completely crushed and it rattled him. Some of it wasnt his fault either.
That was one hell of a welcome to the NFL. If he is able to mentally recover from that and show improvement...I dont see at why he cant easily be the starter this year.
Well there would have to be circumstances. You cant be on it during regular season unless youre on IR .
Like if you are on the field you cant fail a test. Mandatory testing for all players. Blah blah blah, im sure the NFL could come up with something.
Honestly...as much as I hate the Pats....the guy tore his ACL and was out for the year. He should be allowed to recover with PEDS.
Imagine if he didnt use them and his knee healed poorly and cost him another season. Careers are too short to not take the best option to recovery.
If hes good enough to stream, make money and gain followers. Let him ride the wave and take that chance. Some of the highest paid streamers make over 50 grand a month.
uhhh yeah. literally just by adjusting to NFL level physicality a rookie has improved from his rookie year.
there are many different levels of improvement.
Well in Petermans case hes pretty much seen the worst hes going to see as a rookie.
If hes has any good QB in him he will take last year as a learning experience and grow from it. He wasnt some 8 year vet playing like that. He was a rookie. Rookies learn and usually end up getting better....how much better is up to him.
