  2. What you described isn't her just saying, "I have no interest in sports," it's "I have no interest in sports and therefore you'll have to stop watching sports." In that case, yes - run away. But her having no interest in sports, in and of itself, is not a reason to ditch her. My wife has no interest in sports but she has no problem with me watching football. She'll even watch a game with me now and then. We've been together for 32 years and I'm glad I didn't run away when she said she wasn't interested in sports.
  3. Always took candy from strangers Didn't wanna get me no trade Never want to be like papa Working for the boss every night and day I need a love to keep me happy I need a love, baby won't ya keep me happy Baby, won't ya keep me happy
  4. Sharks don't normally attack lawyers. It's a matter of professional courtesy.
  5. I've been drivin' all night, my hand's wet on the wheel There's a voice in my head that drives my heel It's my baby callin', says "I need you here" And it's a half past four and I'm shiftin' gear When she is lonely and the longing gets too much She sends a cable comin' in from above Don't need no phone at all We've got a thing that's called radar love We've got a wave in the air, radar love
  6. Buffy - player-independent Zoey (for 'Zo) Micah (works for either gender)
  7. The first computer I used was a DEC PDP-11 mainframe for a programming class in my freshman year of college. One central computer with 96 "dumb" terminals for users. We also had access to a computer room with a couple of Trash-80 Color Computers; my friend had a Space Invaders game on cassette. The first PC I bought was a 16 MHz 286 (don't remember the brand) with a whopping 1 MB of RAM, a 40 MB hard drive, and a 3.5" floppy drive. It ran DOS 3.3.
  8. And if you feel that you can't go on And your will's sinkin' low Just believe and you can't go wrong In the light you will find the road
  9. A woman complained to her husband because he spends too much money on beer. He said, "You spend more money than that on make-up and salons." She responded, "That's so I'll look beautiful for you." He replied, "That's what the beer is for." Ba-DUM-tssssss.
  10. Oh, well, a young man Ain't got nothin' in the world these days I said a young man Ain't got nothin' in the world these days Well, you know in the old days When a young man was a strong man All the people, they'd step back When a young man walked by But you know, nowadays It's the old man He's got all the money And a young man ain't got nothin' in the world these days I said Ain't got nothing Got sweet nothing
  11. He's not a big fan of beer. He'll drink one now and then, but I don't think he'd want one of the bourbon-barrel ales.
  12. My son bought me two varieties of bourbon-barrel stout.
  13. I took a trip A trip with my dad I packed the lunches He scored the tabs We took his wagon And all of my tapes The road was our planet And we were the apes We started in the valley And headed for the clouds We left behind mother You know that three is a crowd I took a trip with my dad You know it made us both feel better We talked a lot about the things we had When I took a trip A trip with my dad
  14. That's why you didn't know that the Bills signed Eddie Lacy.
  15. Matt's Brewery (formerly Utica Club) brews Saranac, but I don't know if it's contract brewing or if Saranac is Matt's "high-end" beer line.
  16. Jeez - no need to get cranky about it. I am a fan of his music and what I know about his personality suggests he was a decent guy, not that that has anything to do with which way he held a guitar. I merely pointed out that it's not exactly unique to be dominant with one hand for some things and the other hand for other things.
  17. Not everyone is strictly right- or left-handed. I write and eat left-handed, but I play guitar right-handed. (My guitar teacher is the same.) I'm right-handed in sports. Even stranger, I hold a handgun right-handed, but I shoot a rifle left-handed. It's not a conscious decision - I just pick up an object and hold it the way that feels natural to me.
  18. Well, I'm sittin' here so lonely, feelin' oh so blue My baby's tryin' to mistreat me and I don't know what to do So I'm cryin' Why do I have to feel this way? If I can't love my baby I can't live another day Yeah, I've loved her for such a long time, to end it all this way Sittin' here so lonely, tears keep fallin' just like rain So I'm cryin' Why do I have to feel this way? If I can't love my baby I can't live another day
