  1. The thing is, I think he's losing yards even if he doesn't fumble....
  2. I'd like to remind Coleman that he was picked in the 1st round. Good time to show it.
  3. Get a turnover here. Let's really shift the momentum. Tie this up, and that Ravens comeback starts to pay some dividends. It will get in their heads.
  4. Nope - it was clean. The refs still owe us. BIG.
  5. We have the ability to score fast, and come back fast. I hate that we're in this position again, but we're probably one of the best comeback teams out there.
  6. Yes, we're injured. But so are a lot of teams. You don't show up to a primetime game and look like this. Still a chance to win - but it feels like we have to be perfect.
  7. It was extremely obvious that the ball never touched the ground. I really do not understand.
  8. Is this the worst defense we've had? Like, legitimately? Our D's in the drought years were average to good at least.
  9. That dude who just got fired by the Titans is available...
  10. Did the announcer call McD one of the best defensive minds in the game?
  11. We get WAY too many penalties.
  12. Reminder - we have a defensive HC.
  13. In a way, getting that fumble would have let us off the hook too much. This defense has to be WAY better. It's like they folded after that penalty.
  14. Every team is banged up this time of year. Missing Kincaid is tough, but no excuse whatsoever.
  15. It's the NFL, so you don't take anyone lightly. But we're playing a team that is currently in 3rd place in their division behind the Bucs & Panthers, and will probably be fighting for a WC spot in late December (if all goes well for them). If we're not able to beat a team like that after the kind of loss we had, we're likely not nearly as much of a contender as many here & elsewhere think we are. I happen to think we ARE that team, and will be playing in the SB. I think we're giving Atlanta proper respect, but let's not overhype their chances tonight. I believe they only win if we do a repeat of last week and lose the turnover battle, mixed in w/ some lopsided officiating.
  16. This is the year to really go for it. We have very, very clear needs. If this deadline passes with a whimper (either no move, or some usual depth move), it won't look good for how serious this FO is.
  17. I used to kind of root for KC. Smaller market, bad luck, kinda like Buffalo in some ways. Weird to think about now.
  18. Honestly, that really was ridiculous. It was a disservice to both teams. That game never got in a rhythm. Officials should NEVER take over the game like that.
  19. This speaks for me. It's all I'd ever want to say on this topic.
  20. I've seen too many QB's have games like he's having for a few weeks. And that's what we're talking about - a few weeks. Maybe I'm in denial, but I see a lot of hype based on people needing the Pats to be a villain again. Let's see a few 4th quarter comeback drives. Let's see a 300 yard game. He has done extremely little for the wild hype he is getting right now.
  21. It's soft - I think technically, the softest in the league - but except for Carolina, that team plays to the level of their opponent. We do too - but we're much more seasoned than they are. They could lose to the Browns, Falcons, Bucs, Giants, Ravens (with Jackson back). They didn't even sweep the division in their Brady years most of the time, so I'd even throw a Jets or Phins loss in there.
  22. We'll have around 5 guys playing in a month or so that haven't been playing. More injuries can happen, but that's a significant percentage of the roster. I really think Beane has be be aggressive at the deadline. Someone like Olave would boost our odds for the SB very significantly.
  23. It's a very deluded fanbase. Sometimes, I feel kind of glad I don't think the way they do. Too much success...
  24. He's better than Mac Jones. But he's still mostly hype, imo. I just watched the highlights from today. It almost reminded me of Tua when he first had Hill & Waddle. I get that the Pats receivers aren't at that level - but they were as wide open as those guys can get, and a couple of times they had to slow down to catch the ball. Allen so rarely has guys that open, way downfield. Maye looked solid, but they hype is over the top. He'll have a "pump the brakes" game soon, imo.
  25. I thought Strong looked really good when he played, and then there is Hairston, who we haven't seen. In my dream scenario, both of those guys are playing by mid-November, and playing well.
