The Bengals looked good against the Cards but yesterday, they looked bad again. Geno Smith took two consecutive sacks on 4th down in the last two drives. The Bengals got lucky like we did yesterday.

The Bills, Chiefs and Bengals are all off this year. All 3 have had great games but not anywhere near consistent as in the past. All 3 has had lackluster performances against really poor teams. About a 3rd of the season is complete and these offenses are nowhere near the level of production they should be at. Do you think defenses are figuring these offenses out? Or are these mainly issues with these offenses?

But you’re also getting a “safer” option because the FA is more of a known commodity. If that draft pick busts, then you have created two problems. Carter is a top 10 pick. You’re committed to him for the next 5 years. The Eagles had other areas they could have used a top 10 pick but they chose a pass rusher.

If you can an elite pass rusher, regardless of what you have, you get him. The Eagles had the 3rd most sacks in NFL history last year. Who did they draft in the first round this year? Another pass rusher. Was that an implication that they had ineffective pass rushers?

Epenesa was developing and the change in DC seems to have made a significant difference. Rousseau has been good and now hitting his peak. Oliver didn’t have the sack numbers but he was a disruptor. He is now elite.

Are you really saying Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau and AJ Epenesa are ineffective pass rushers?

I was screaming at the replay because at the game, they showed one angle and you couldn’t tell. Why were they showing a shot??

I was at the game. It wasn’t that loud. I think it had a lot to do with the fans being frustrated. Everyone around me was pretty pissed with the offense and had the mindset that we should beat this team by 20.

Defense has a lot of pregame energy.

Man, you will make sure you will find the negative. The year our defense stopped the Ravens, they were 7th in the league in scoring. In their last 5 games, they scored 37, 47, 40, 27 and 38 points. Clearly, Lamar Jackson being one dimensional means they couldn’t score. In 2021, New England was 6th in the NFL in scoring. They were only .4 points less per game than the Rams who won the Super Bowl. So clearly, the Pats couldn’t score that year either.

I don’t know how you can call a 195 lbs man “little man”. He’s one thick dude with real toughness…not just a mouth. He grew up in the tough streets of LA and carries that attitude.
