  1. At first I thought this was going to be a Thanos style wish list. I guess that's another thread
  2. There is some irony in this- it seems as though they may have built a team that is not built for Buffalo weather. "When it's too cold for them, it's too cold for us too." Is it time to build a dome?
  3. Who pissed in your Cheerios dude? It's one man's synopsis- not a Jauron.... so don't take it so hard
  4. I'm told we have been playing on slippery turf all year thus far. Bean and McDermott have been planning for months for this exact moment. They have thought of everything, including practicing for months in slippery conditions. Advantage Bills.
  5. I'm relieved that the No Fun League has relaxed a little bit with the celebration penalties. I say you should let them have as much fun as they want with it, as long as it isn't meant to taunt or puts anyone or anything in danger of injury or damage. This is, ultimately, for our entertainment. As long as it isn't more than 2 pumps, that is.
  6. Did anyone catch the subtle homage to Hingle McCringleberry yesterday? For those that aren't familiar- you must familiarize yourself immediately.
  7. I didn't think they were allowed into the showers for their post-games anymore
  8. Their offense has turned to gimmick plays to try to score. Wouldn't surprise me if Edelman has more TD passes than Cam does by the end of the season.
  9. I'm just gonna throw this out there- I think some people could stand to be a little more kind to people that post. If you feel that a thread is pointless, just move along. If others agree with you, it sinks to the bottom of the board and dies a quick death. Why so serious? Are there open tryouts for a mod position or something? I guess I didn't see it posted.
  10. Someone is working on getting their post count up quickly. I can only imagine the depth of untold wisdom you will soon bring to us all
  11. So Josh Allen is our Good Will Hunting? I'll F'in take it. I like my geniuses blue collar.
  12. The Cowboys came within a play or so of beating the Seahawks last night. Their QB threw for almost 500 yards and 3 TDs. They could be 0 - 3 right now, and also could be 3 - 0 if a few plays went differently. I know it feels good to bash the Cowboys, but I wouldn't overlook them.
  13. The NFL can try to justify this if they want, but the smarter move would have been to admit the mistake. Just wait and see what a can of worms this opens up for the rest of the season. Every completed catch can now result in the defender trying to wrestle it away on the ground before the ref can verify the "completion of the catch" process? Oh this should be fun to watch.
  14. I was very happy we acquired him, but wasn't sure at the time that whether he is elite level talent. Part of that is probably me being guilty of looking for the prototypical size / speed that we think an elite level talent has to have. I guess that way of thinking is how guys like Diggs and A. Brown get overlooked in the draft. This guy is quick and precise in his routes and tough as hell. I love watching him play.
  15. Agree 100%. I liked the trade when it happened. After 2 weeks I already LOVE the trade.
  16. https://vikingswire.usatoday.com/2020/09/21/diggs-just-had-more-receiving-yards-than-cousins-had-passing-yards/ The short article is a delicious blend of salt and sarcasm. I like it.
  17. I hadn't seen this ad locally... probably regional advertising in Pats country. Kudos to Subway for knowing their market so well.
  18. I love the Bills, but I'm not sure they have reached Achilles status. He was 24 - 1, after all. Having said that, the etymology of the name can be analyzed as meaning "he who has the people distressed", so I am willing to concede it.
  19. He's the love child of Will Ferrell and CarrotTop. No wonder the guy is such a miserable prick.
  20. So long before this game was flexed, I bought tickets for the family to go see Rise of Skywalker at 3:15PM. Probably won't get home til 6, so I am going to miss the entire first half. I see a lot of people saying that they will use the Yahoo sports app or Reddit feed to watch this weekend. Just wondering whether these feeds allow you to rewind so I can watch the whole game or if it is live feed only and I will only see the second half. Thanks for any info anyone can provide.
  21. John Brown is 5'11". He is a very good receiver. He has great speed. He does not have great size. If you were an offensive coordinator, are you telling me that you would choose John Brown as the guy you wanted to target on these back shoulder throws and 50/50 type balls that you throw up? Not saying they can't make it work sometimes, I just don't think that is the best use of his skillset. But hey- I am not an expert on such things. I will readily admit to that. I disagree (as do many others, apparently). There is plenty to discuss here. I admire John Brown for taking the heat, but are we really going to pretend that this was a gimme if only he had come back for that throw? That is NOT a high percentage play, and we needed one there that got us at least 5 - 10 more yards.
  22. I think you are missing the overall picture here- I guess that makes you "some fan with a computer who has little experience posting who likes to criticize other posters". So I ask again- do you believe that the downfield back shoulder throw is a high percentage throw? Do you believe we were safely in range of a tying field goal if we don't get that play? My answer to these two questions is "NO" and I didn't have to play QB to have an opinion on that.
