In terms of talent then probably true but the thing that gets overlooked is the contract. You cant have a bunch of all pros who are the highest paid at their position, but you can have a bunch of all pro's on your team if you acquire them through the draft. You have to consider the contract.

You have to consider a lot in a short period of time before you throw the challenge flag. On a lot of those "line of gain" challenges, they end up being inconclusive. From what I saw he probably got it but there had to be clear irrefutable evidence, not sure we had that on that play.

That sounds about right, he is on par with Tyrod who also got a 3rd. I can see the legend of Teddy is still alive and strong.

But it would not define him like it does now. I do get how bad the performance was....it took Tyrod the entire rest of the season to throw the same number. Peterman has some good qualities but his throws to the sideline are a td the other way waiting to happen. Saw it the other night...when things are for real I think he will still struggle. But it looks like he may get the chance to prove that wrong.

He can live it down by playing well......in the regular season.

It has very little to do with a TD, he has been running as TE2 because he earned it and jumped over O'leary. Nobody is calling him Gronk except Steve. I think Lee makes it because of his blocking ability, they are going to need it. So if can also be an FB that may get him a roster position.

Henderson is an upgrade over Mills but he is one pee test away from a year ban. Kuoandijo on the other hand is not worth talking about in my opinion.

He knows where he is going before the snap and nothing stops him from doing that on some plays. DB's guess on those hitches and he will give up pick sixes, that is what Peterman does. It is also what he does well, get rid of the ball in 0.75 seconds cause by 0.76 seconds he will be sacked.

That was a bad contract from day one. But I dont see why you waive him, he is talented and has something to offer. If you are saying we should play the younger guys for experience I guess that is something you could do. I am sure the contract is not tradeable so he is a Bill for one more year.

Great post! What we see on these forums is that a lot people see things as black and white about pretty much everything.

There is no such thing as a crystal ball, all evaluation techniques are flawed in one way or another. Analytics is just one tool, you can never just go by one tool in and of itself. The makeup of the person, mitigating circumstances of the data the analytics use need to be considered as well as many other factors. All the evaluations are done based on what a player has done in the past with a particular team and particular coaches. It is also a small sample size and he is young, he has growing to do still. I think we need to pump the brakes on him though....hopefully it works out as well as we all hope but the guy has played a couple quarters in preseason, no way enough to know what will happen down the road. People are actually saying look at how good the Bills did selecting Allen instead of trading for Foles cause Allen has done well while Foles has struggled in preseason. There is complete amnesia about what Foles did in real meaninful, super bowl winning games. Now we only need to know about his stat line in his last preseason game to know he sucks. Dont take that to mean I want Foles over Allen, I am just saying we need to relax and let things play out.

The only people who say Kelly over Brady are bills fans or just people who hate Brady and are irrational in my opinion.
