  1. Have it on now... and as soon as I saw that Larry Coryell was on it I knew it would be good. Reminds me a little bit of Weather Report... sort of. Funny story... was at the flea market 2 months ago and snagged Larry Coryell's 2nd album on vinyl... and this was at a sports card show. That is random for sure.
  2. Funny this album is mentioned but I picked it up at the flea market on CD 2 weeks ago along with Quadrophenia, After the gold rush, Harvest, Doors american prayer, etc. Ten in total for $10... that was a good day alright. It really is a great album but I like workingman quite a bit too. I can play these two and the Byrds Sweetheart of the Rodeo for country music people and they all seem to like it.
  3. Probably not man... music is like food, either you like it or you don't. Your list is as good as mine or anybody's, no one is wrong.
  4. I've listened to a lot of music but never Memphis Underground... will be checking that one out tonight.
  5. “I resent your assumption that Music is Not My Bag because I’ve been arguing for the past few years that music is the New Literature, that Dylan is the 1960s’ answer to Hemingway, and that the main voice of the ’70s will be on records & videotape instead of books. https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/hunter-s-thompsons-top-10-albums-of-the-1960s/?fbclid=IwAR29ZcmiKsuwsSy2RAjzF2cWQIOzzRLwNwcdY1KyFZ-a0JutthlIJmy3A4c
  6. Anyone here going?
  7. Siblings always won the war, not much to remember...
  8. Yep, anyone could be anyone as long as you met the basic criteria... hair color, weight, height, etc.
  9. Drivers licenses were made out of cardboard back then...
  10. Clever...
  11. I did get to see him once, back in the late 80's at the old Tampa stadium... he was Bowies guitar player. It seemed like a month after Frampton Comes Alive came out everyone had it... it was alright I guess but that was the highlight of his career imo, although I do like Humble Pie. This was before Humble Pie... I've had it a couple of times but it really isn't my style.
  12. Lots of snow down here in Florida...
  13. Interesting... I live in the Tampa area and had never heard of Mothers. Coffee rubbed beef on weck, sounds good already. If you Really want to get your Buffalo food fix on head on down to Casa Di Pizza in Bradenton, really not that long of a drive but well worth it.
  14. I never have but I'd for Sure hit this one up if it was within a few states of Florida. Would call this one legit... Frank spoke of holograms back in the late 80's. Unreleased 74 material is a winner.
  15. Dates announced earlier... you people in the NE are lucky dogs. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/frank-zappa-hologram-tour-dates/ The 'Bizarre World of Frank Zappa' Tour4/19 – Port Chester, NY, Capitol Theater4/20 – Rochester, NY, Kodak Center Theater4/22 – Red Bank, NJ, Count Basie4/24 – Long Island, NY, Paramount Theatre4/26 – Boston, MA, Shubert4/28 – Albany, NY, The Palace Theatre05/1 – Wilkes Barre, PA, Kirby Center05/2 – Collingswood, NJ, Scottish Rite Auditorium05/3 – Baltimore, MD, the Modell Lyric
  16. Beatles after party shot after the Ed Sullivan show debut:
  17. I was reading today that Peter Jackson is doing a remake of the Let It Be movie... from what I read the entire rooftop concert will be shown, not just the 26 minutes or so we've seen... something like 53 minutes. Read this on my phone so I don't have a link nor the time right now to find it.
  18. Bear spray is the way to go. A buddy of mine owns a gun shop and 75% of his bear spray sales are to bouncers at bars in Tampa... bring a whole room to its knees in 10 seconds, that ***** is heavy duty.
  19. This person is alive... he (I assume its he) has been posting once in awhile on another Bills discussion board. Maybe just taking a break from here, have no idea.
  20. Or the first one... A Taste of Honey still gives me goosebumps... have 4 copies of that one, all legit.
  21. My go to twitter Bills/NFL news: https://twitter.com/billsdaily
  22. Did you have six? Yes, I did.
  23. After Hemispheres I was kind of done with the new stuff. But for a lot of bands the Great stuff really ends imo... a wall is hit. Genesis- Wind and Wuthering Pink Floyd- Animals Stones- Some Girls Yes - Going for the One Just a few but this is just my ears opinion... there are a lot of others. I'd like to see the faces of people who heard the first Rush album for the first time... What is up with that voice lol.
  24. Nothing like a Bluto thread to rile up the natives... lmao
