  1. Have never tried Deans but Helluva is made in Arkport, New York... honestly can't tell the difference between Bison and Helluva. Not sure if Deans is sold in Florida but I'll keep an eye out at Publix. What restaurant are you at?
  2. I think Helluva is the same as Bison... look at where its made. Funny you mention Webers, I'm opening the 2nd to last jar in around 20 minutes. Sahlens dogs are excellent, just not the cheapo "smokehouse" version... natural casing or nothing.
  3. No doubt about it at all... a great look/sound. A great poet if not a great songwriter. Live Ballad of a Thin Man I posted above was just in Their Face... and it remains true to this day.
  4. Yeesh, I have a copy of that in one of the boxes in the album room... ranks right up there with Mrs. Miller and Captain Kirk. If it's not in the web now maybe contact the guy who put this one up, all I got.
  5. Was this a concert you attended? Desire and Blood on the Tracks are pretty much gold as far as his mid career goes imo.
  6. Dave Mason did a fine job here:
  7. Man, I haven't seen your name in a long time... if you are the same one, good to see you posting.
  8. Alright, here we go... pulling for the Sharks to force the 7th.
  9. If you're talking Crystal Beach I have no idea, they were put in after I last went in the mid to late 70's. If mentioning Snyders I don't know, I left in 78 for the Army.
  10. Never been to that one, but have been to the Bellevue Biltmore before they tore most of it down. That was a damn shame.
  11. I don't remember a water slide either but I last went around the last time you went so yeah it was after. Actually, at that time I was working as an attendant on the waterslide at Snyders Darien Lakes, back when all they had was that and paddleboats.
  12. Don't remember any flies and I probably went there 12 years in a row... there was no screen. You must have gone there at a different time of the year. Moving on.. the Smokey Mountains is another place that is nice to go to, just beautiful... peaceful. The little creeks are a bonus here.
  13. We also went here once a year on the 4th of July weekend... great park and great fireworks over the lake... it is still there: http://www.newconneautlakepark.com/
  14. Ok. Decent look at what it was... this was our big trip/outing in the summer in the 60's, could not wait for that day... it was magical back then to us kids. I will ride that Comet again lol.
  15. Who do you think has the best shot at taking down the Bruins? I'm thinking the Sharks... they seem to skate faster than the Blues. Either way... once the cup is won and done my sports season.. maybe a little golf in there... is over until the NFL preseason begins.
  16. Not even summer yet, this is Tampa for the week:
  17. Favorite summer vacation here is heading back up to WNY for a week or more... good food, relatives/friends, and Letchworth + Watkins Glen. Ice cream too, can't get Perry's down here.
  18. I dunno, back in the 60's 70's the Comet was a pretty big deal... compared to what they have out there nowadays not so much. The Wild Mouse... used to ride it with my Dad. I think they still have one at Fantasy Island, not sure. Whatever that place was that you walked through with the tilting floors, mirrors, etc. that ended with a ride down a slide was a fave. The guy that ran the air jets that came up from the floor had the best job there by far... Lift Those Summer Dresses Up Man.
  19. The Comet is still going, its at The Great Escape in Queensbury NY...
