  1. Yep, anyone could be anyone as long as you met the basic criteria... hair color, weight, height, etc.
  2. Drivers licenses were made out of cardboard back then...
  3. I did get to see him once, back in the late 80's at the old Tampa stadium... he was Bowies guitar player. It seemed like a month after Frampton Comes Alive came out everyone had it... it was alright I guess but that was the highlight of his career imo, although I do like Humble Pie. This was before Humble Pie... I've had it a couple of times but it really isn't my style.
  4. Interesting... I live in the Tampa area and had never heard of Mothers. Coffee rubbed beef on weck, sounds good already. If you Really want to get your Buffalo food fix on head on down to Casa Di Pizza in Bradenton, really not that long of a drive but well worth it.
  5. I never have but I'd for Sure hit this one up if it was within a few states of Florida. Would call this one legit... Frank spoke of holograms back in the late 80's. Unreleased 74 material is a winner.
  6. Dates announced earlier... you people in the NE are lucky dogs. http://ultimateclassicrock.com/frank-zappa-hologram-tour-dates/ The 'Bizarre World of Frank Zappa' Tour4/19 – Port Chester, NY, Capitol Theater4/20 – Rochester, NY, Kodak Center Theater4/22 – Red Bank, NJ, Count Basie4/24 – Long Island, NY, Paramount Theatre4/26 – Boston, MA, Shubert4/28 – Albany, NY, The Palace Theatre05/1 – Wilkes Barre, PA, Kirby Center05/2 – Collingswood, NJ, Scottish Rite Auditorium05/3 – Baltimore, MD, the Modell Lyric
  7. Beatles after party shot after the Ed Sullivan show debut:
  8. I was reading today that Peter Jackson is doing a remake of the Let It Be movie... from what I read the entire rooftop concert will be shown, not just the 26 minutes or so we've seen... something like 53 minutes. Read this on my phone so I don't have a link nor the time right now to find it.
  9. Bear spray is the way to go. A buddy of mine owns a gun shop and 75% of his bear spray sales are to bouncers at bars in Tampa... bring a whole room to its knees in 10 seconds, that ***** is heavy duty.
  10. This person is alive... he (I assume its he) has been posting once in awhile on another Bills discussion board. Maybe just taking a break from here, have no idea.
  11. Or the first one... A Taste of Honey still gives me goosebumps... have 4 copies of that one, all legit.
  12. My go to twitter Bills/NFL news: https://twitter.com/billsdaily
  13. Did you have six? Yes, I did.
  14. After Hemispheres I was kind of done with the new stuff. But for a lot of bands the Great stuff really ends imo... a wall is hit. Genesis- Wind and Wuthering Pink Floyd- Animals Stones- Some Girls Yes - Going for the One Just a few but this is just my ears opinion... there are a lot of others. I'd like to see the faces of people who heard the first Rush album for the first time... What is up with that voice lol.
  15. Nothing like a Bluto thread to rile up the natives... lmao
  16. Same here, they were my first concert too, at the Aud in 1976... still have the stub, admission was $6.00. I'm the same as some, I don't really care about their later stuff. I bought a double CD called Chronicles a few weeks ago and disc 1 is great. Disc 2 not so much. I'm probably going to give it away. My favorite Rush album is the double live "All the World's a Stage"... I wore that one out on cassette a couple of times in the car on the Pioneer Supertuner back then. P.S. It is/was 3 guys, not 4 but I'm sure that was a typo.
  17. So you know Shaw, Punt750 is Bluto. We already ran him off of the other board.
  18. I mentioned this exact same scenario somewhere else, you know, and to be honest its a dirty kind of thing to even mention but yes, I'd not mind us taking the hit if it meant keeping the pats out of the playoffs. Its not like the fins will go anywhere in the post season, kind of like us last year imo.
  19. It could and wouldn't that be sweet, but it will depend on what other AFC teams do in the next couple of weeks. From the NY Times: A.F.C. EAST New England Patriots (9-5) Best possible outcome: No. 1 seed Worst possible outcome: Out A Patriots win in either of their next two games would clinch the division title and a postseason berth. But the potential outcome of the team’s seed is highly variable. Winning out would make a bye week more likely than not, and even the No. 1 seed in the A.F.C. remains technically possible. But in the unlikely event of losing out — to the 5-9 Bills and the 4-10 Jets – the Patriots, at 9-7, could find themselves with the No. 6 seed or even missing the playoffs altogether.
  20. Yeah, we're back in the full bore spoiler mode... Nothing would be sweeter than pushing the pats into the #4 position and knocking the fins out for good.
  21. Good write up as usual Shaw, but this one thing I'm not too sure about: "Both teams were out of the playoff picture" I was under the impression that the Lions were still in the running for a wild card spot before the game yesterday. They certainly are eliminated now for sure. Or did I hear something wrong on the gameday shows?
  22. Least liked is McCartney's tune... the convenient store I was at an hour ago was playing it. One of the best out there imo:
