You don't draft a guard in the 1st ... or do you?
Patrick Duffy replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some teams do and some don't. Depends on circumstances of course.... As for Bills I highly doubt they go G in the 1st, as of now if nothing changes, all signs would lead me to believe they go either WR or CB in the 1st. Anything can happen, but with the WR class said to be a good, deep class this year may have them thinking CB with the 1st and WR with 2nd. That's assuming as of now if nothing changes and/or moving around in the draft. imo if they pick a G it likely will be no earlier than 3rd round -
That looks like the best guess the way it's looking as of now.

Urban Meyer - "Worst experience in my professional life“
Patrick Duffy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL at "worst experience in my professional life". So horrible getting paid 10-12mil during that worst experience. A single tear falls down my cheek -
Well, speaking for myself, not sure if "faith" is the word I would use for myself...however I feel good he will have a really good chance to be ready earlier/faster than some other players recovering from similar injuries like his. Reason being the Bills facility is one of the very best, if not the best in the league. It is said by many to be the best thing ever. With that along with the amount of hard work, determination, etc Tre is putting in to being ready just gives me confidence he will be ready faster than some may think.

You're not alone.

Yeah I agree with you. I'm just mainly pointing out to the ones saying McK is better. I don't know what exactly he is thought to be better at, but I don't see anything to support it
-
I missed this part since I I didn't read past the thread title of this beauty. After seeing the bold I can't take you serious
-
Agree Duke may be a little better, or at least in REC yards and TD's stats are a little better. The bold I'm not sure of... Some have posted they believe McK is faster than Duke. I honestly don't know, but if so it may not be much anyways.

Browns panic and keep him to back up Watson and/or the chance of Watson getting suspended a few games he can fill in LOL..... That would just downright get a really good laugh outta me.... -
According to Yolo's post comparing their last 62 games it's pretty close. I mean yeah, in principal Duke's are a little bit better, but not enough to argue about imo.
-
Did S. Brown's performance not meet your expectations?? Not sure about you but he certainly exceeded mine by a sizable margin. I can't understand the slightest why you'd want Bulaga in place of Brown..
-
Not a whole lot of difference in numbers between them. Not enough to make a big deal about anyways imo
-
I don't know about that...I wouldn't label him as just a "camp body" at all. The 3rd or 4th round pick you'd rather have could end up as the "camp body", or either ST. Yup, also he could even beat out Moss. It should be interesting to see how it plkays out...

2022 Free Agency - Around the NFL Thread
Patrick Duffy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I predicted this about around couple months ago and kinda surprised since the QB things went how they are at this point. Many disagreed with me then and could have went either way... I just thought Winston did well enough and would have likely made playoffs if not for injury. Think they were like 5-1 or 6-2 when he got hurt, if I recall correctly -
I personally don't believe Dorsey will risk Allen like Daboll did. Not saying there won't be ANY QB designed runs or anything, but I highly feel that's an area that Dorsey will change
-
Yeah, and I mean I for one wasn't expecting much done especially with how much they improved last few games when finally getting the OL personnel worked out. I expected Breida to be replaced, but who didn't really lol....
-
And what would that be? Just because if he's in on 3rd down don't mean a thing. There's no telling what they do....

Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
Patrick Duffy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
What's your thoughts on the way they handled the situation with Baker, among other things? I can imagine that many, or most Browns fans probably don't have much confidence in Browns management. -
Well better than Brieda....
-
Compete with Moss and still bring in a faster type RB??

Deshaun Watson to Browns - $230 million guaranteed
Patrick Duffy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Legal issues aside, Watson was a decent QB, but I was never quite as high on him as some others were and it remains to be seen how he performs after the time off. That being said, I never viewed him as a QB who would "worry me", (I guess is the term) few years ago and even less now considering the time off and no Hopkins etc. I will acknowledge that he may be an improvement over Baker, but when there's anything starting to go half decent for them it seems Browns WILL FIND a way to ***** it up Lol. I thought it was rough being a Bills fan, but ya got us beat. I feel bad for Browns fans sometimes because they have had opportunities and everything in place to be a really good team only to be ruined by management/FO/owner..... -
