Yeah really lol. This along with Juju on the milk crates must be what he meant by "Steelers are all football". -

https://www.al.com/sports/2021/08/bills-cornerback-levi-wallace-in-neck-and-neck-competition-to-keep-starting-spot.html You presented your post as if it was a fact, but kinda looks a little more like your opinion. Which is what I thought because if it was true, I don't think I would have missed something like that. Anyway, bottom line they are still competing for it like I thought.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 3
Patrick Duffy replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I laughed at this more than I should have lol -
Where you get that from? Or you just assuming or predicting it? Because Saturday during the game when Beane was interviewing with announcers, he said Dane and Wallace were competing for #2 CB. So are you saying as of Sunday or by this morning the competition is over and Wallace was named? If so, please show me because I must have missed it.

I can understand the young age excuse has played it's course for some too. For me, as far as last season goes I take the injury into account being a factor and I'm not quite ready to write him off just yet. This season hopefully will be more injury free for most part and hope to see him have a good enough year to put all this to rest. -
Yeah dude, I don't know about you, but to me he lost credibility with the "Mariota has been a good starter" comment lol.

Alphas Final Roster Stab (after PS game 3)

Neal. I would say Neil is elite and Taiwan is very good. Ok. Well I can't argue with that. I guess it's just something I haven't took enough notice to clearly see a difference. Both are usually pretty fast getting down there so guess I just never put much thought in it. -

In your opinion, who would you say is the best gunner? I honestly don't know if it's enough difference to honestly say one is that much better than another. -
I'm sorry, but I chuckled a little bit at this comment.

Ok, so you named rookies that are unknowns. Rest of the list in no way I would take over Mitch right now as a QB2.

I agree he's had some struggles and whatnot. Do you think him being as young as he was when drafted to even now still being very young might make him need a little more time ( as far as a learning process goes)? Or do you think he's had plenty of time by now young or not? Wasn't he like one of the youngest LB's in a long time or ever? Or something like that. He was like 19 when drafted right? I don't know, I'm just saying...some say there's a learning curve to the MLB position. -
KR/PR duties— how will this turn out?

I'd like to see Stevenson be the main guy. That way don't have to add that extra risk factor with McKenzie -

I kinda get both sides of it. Some feel he hasn't lived up to expectations yet, or at least been more of an "impact MLB" than they feel he has considering he was a high pick at least by now in his career. Some feel he has done enough and for now are satisfied with it due to he's such a young MLB and still has much to learn. I get that too. With all that said, where I stand with it is I'm not ready to write him off just yet. Obviously he had a rough go last season but also acknowledge he was injured for a lot of last season too, which I feel even the ppl that's pretty much done with him can agree that injury played at least a sizable part in that. So in conclusion, for me I want to see a hopefully healthy season this time and also hope he has learned more. -
I'm kinda leaning that way but at same time realize it is possible he could in the future. You stated as a "true #1 as commonly understood". Curious as to what you would commonly understand as a true #1. For instance to me a true #1 WR comes to mind, I think of a player that has reliable hands, good route runner that has awareness of not only where he is on the field and makes the tough catches, but also smart enough to take advantage of different defenses. Also has speed, although does not have to be the fastest, and can separate well. With that said, Davis has shown he has alot of that already. I understand he needs work on separation, but I think he will improve that also. If he can keep all that up going forward, I mean he could certainly have a good shot at being a #1 WR sometime in the future. Idk, just my 2 cents
