Bills vs Broncos-Monday Night Football
Walking Tall replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does Rapp stink? He started and went the whole way against Miami. After Miami’s second drive they were pretty much shut down. -
Same could be said about Sean McDermott only Harbaugh has been much more successful. I’d take Harbaugh in a heartbeat.

It looks like it should have a propeller on the top of it.

Week 10, Broncos v. Bills - Predict the Score
Walking Tall replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills 41, Broncos 14 -
OK, thanks for that. I don’t have all 22 access or anything like that. Is he getting separation? Is there a reason you feel they aren’t going to him at all? Covered well?

I like what you said about we aren’t fast as an offense. That is so true and it seems we do nothing to attempt to take advantage of the speed we do have. For instance, it seems we almost always have Cook slip out of the backfield and sit underneath. I have no issue with this as it is a nice 5-8 yard gain as coverage from all angles quickly converge. The point being Cook is stationary when he catches the ball. Cook is a very fast player. I don’t recall ever seeing him deployed on a wheel route that he may actually be able to just use flat out speed to beat defenders for a big play. I’m not trying to compare era’s but Thurman Thomas was used on these routes very successfully and though Thurman was a better receiving threat than Cook is, Cook is faster than Thurman was. I’d love to see the Bills at least try this. And not ***** can it if it doesn’t work the first time. Give the defense something else to think about. And I won’t even get into the way Harty is not being used.

Happy 65th Birthday to Promo the Robot!

Happy Birthday! Maybe Mrs. Sweetly will give you a…… -
Buy: Shakir. I think he’s emerging as the second best WR on the team. Sell: our aging safety duo. Love them both but our eyes ain’t lying. Hold: Matt Milano. Can’t heal quick enough but I don’t think we see him until 2024.

If a change is made at OC it needs to be with someone that has had success in the past. Otherwise, don’t even bother.

The defensive ends are probably the biggest disappointment on the team. Not getting to the QB. No big sacks. No knocking the ball loose from the QB. No forcing the QB’s to throw a pick with pressure. With the high picks and salary spent at this position, the return on those investments is a flat out failure.

Potential to Explore Josh Allen (QB) trades
Walking Tall replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even Peyton Manning disagrees! -
He has been to the Super Bowl….with Kaepernick as his QB. The guy can coach.
-
That was with attitude. Nearly ripped Burrow’s nuts off.

The failures at DE just mean we will have to spend even more resources on that position in the near future.
-
He flat out lost the Jets game. He was below par against the Patriots. He was lucky the defense pulled out the win against the Giants.
-
Not for anything, but this season Josh can also look at himself in the mirror for where we currently stand. He is far from blameless.

One of those coaches has a Stanley Cup under his belt as a HC. So, how do you feel about Bill Belichick the past few seasons? If those were his only three do you want him to continue to coach your football team?

That is correct about the Sabres. However the Bylsma and Housley failures were looked upon as pretty good hires throughout the hockey world when they were made.

Bills vs Broncos-Monday Night Football
Walking Tall replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope we aren’t hearing a narrative next Tuesday of how unpredictable this league is as the Dolphins beat the Broncos by 50, the Bills beat the Dolphins by 28 and the Bronc…. Not even going to say it. -
You ALWAYS get the QB when you have the chance.

McDermott answers why we stopped uptempo offense
Walking Tall replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
The ownership would still have to pay the contract so I definitely believe they would have to approve of the firing….just as if Beane wanted to fire McDermott. -
I agree a lot with what the OP has to say and disagree with a lot of it. What I don’t agree with is Sean McDermott had little to do with this organization’s success. I 100% believe he brought a winning culture here. What I do agree with is that it’s time to say goodbye. This team is regressing in a big way. This is a team that has been looked upon the last three seasons as a favorite to win a championship….and we haven’t come close. And, yes, I agree it’s time to bring an offensive mind in here to run the show. Josh Allen is failing before our very eyes. That is scary and shouldn’t be happening.
