Personally, no, I think it's dumb. I hear the name Washington Redskins, and I don't think of a racial slur. I think of that name as a very cool sports team nickname that has years of history. But, I'm obviously not everyone. If people are outraged over it and it gets changed, oh well. I'll still live to see tomorrow.

Again, I do 't know....for the tenth time in this thread, if you don't think the cancel culture is not going after other Indian themed teams, you haven't been paying attention the last month. I'm not saying they will succeed but you can bet your ass those teams are in deck. Watch the Blackhawks logo be under attack by this time next week.

If anyone thinks Snyder will go with the flow and name the team what other people want, they don't know Daniel Snyder. If forced, Snyder will name the team what he he wants as it will be his legacy...and I'm willing to bet it will be something controversial. How about the Washington Indians? I giess today's news that the Redskins are now considering a name change was from all those private citizen complaints and editorials and not from yesterday's threats! What a coincidence, huh? LOL

Honestly, I really don’t care if my opinion and the way I live my life pisses people off. Here’s one for you....did you wear a mask during the Flu season? Did you complain about those people that didn’t? People still get sick with the Flu even after getting vaccinated. Around 60,000 people a year die in this country due to the Flu. Should we all social distance during the Flu season? Wear masks? Shut businesses down? No? Why not? Is 60,000 people a year dying an acceptable number? What is your acceptable number before we all have to take a virus seriously?

Rob, the only times I ever missed the NFL is when I was stationed overseas in the 1980’s. The NFL has been a huge part of my life going back to when I was a very small child. Sunday’s in front of the television were family events. I remember listening to blacked out Bills games while the television was turned down and a football game was on that. With saying that, yes....the NFL has finally broke my will. I am done. Not another penny. I can’t support an organization that props up a terrorist organization like BLM and demonizes the police. I still remember in 2016 when the NFL wouldn’t allow the Cowboys to wear a small helmet decal to honor the 5 Dallas officers that were murdered.
