Bills Backers in Buenos Aires, Argentina?
Walking Tall replied to msw2112's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't cry if you can't watch the Bills in Argentina! Isn't that a song? -
How bad were the Bills back then? They won and the only TD's they showed in those highlights were Baltimore's.

Update: Xavier Rhodes signed by Bills

Bottom of the barrell but what do you do? -
I disagree. That would have been upheld. I would have been pissed if they challenged that.

I hate that they emptied the tank in a loss. Seriously had to be one if the guttiest efforts I've witnessed. That makes me think they may not be physically ready this week in Baltimore. That battery was drained and needs to be recharged.

Add in not scoring on 2nd and goal from the 1. The Bills dominated the game but made some very uncharacteristic mistakes. Exhaustion related? Probably. Either way, good teams sometimes lose to inferior opponents. There is absolutely nothing to gain by dwelling on this loss. Get healthy and this team will be contending in late January/ early February.

Funny, because in the last 20 years or so, only one other team has won a game when being so thoroughly dominated (winning when being outgained by 250 plus yards) as Miami was yesterday. One time. BTW, that game also was won by Miami. But your cliche saying sounds good.

Cowherd killing Bills coaching in his monologue
Walking Tall replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
That would be a real shame if Allen only lasts 18 years like Roethlisberger. -
I seriously worry about this game for two reasons. 1- Will we be operating with a full tank of gas after emptying it yesterday? 2- Jackson being able to buy time may expose our injury riddled defensive backfield.
-
The Bills offense didn't do their job yesterday. End of story. I think almost everyone that sees the game without a bias can agree on that. And who said the Dolphins offense is high powered? ecause they had one good quarter out of twelve quarters this season? And the offense didn't score that safety.

The Bills will struggle in Baltimore. I can already tell you that. They emptied the tank yesterday. It will take some to to bounce back from that game. Not to mention our d-backfield will have issues. Jackson is the type of QB that can buy time. Can the Bills MASH unit hold up? I doubt it. The Bills just need to get rested and bealthy at this point.

After a night of thinking about this the offense didn't do their job. End of story. 3 points in the final two and a half quarters is pathetic.

NFL Week #3 - Bills at the Dolphins - Post game thread
Walking Tall replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
We can do this as many times as you wish. We have no RB that can get a yard on a consistent basis in short yardage situations regardless of our blocking. How many times do you think Henry has been stopped on 3rd or 4th and short? 10 of the time? Using one week as an example is ridiculous when talking about a power back. -

I get that. But sunce IT IS a line issue, get someone physical as ***** that can get that yard or two or has at least a way better chance than what we have currently. -

I still want a guy on the roster I know will 90 percent of the time bang in there and get the first down or TD. Regardless of the o-line run blocking, we could use a back like that. -
Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
Walking Tall replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. I can't believe he didn't make that 38 yard FG. I can't believe he didn't hang onto that Allen pass in the endzone. I can't believe he dropped that pick 6...not to mention short hopping it to a wide open McKenzie for a TD. There were other plays I could mention his suckiness as well. He's a scrub. -

The Bills need a straight up power back for short yardage situations. Yes, the line needs to block better but I also want a brute that can carry a player across the damned line of scrimmage if he's hit behind it.
