  13. Whoever wrote this article should probably choose their words a little better and change "drive" to "power", if they want to be taken seriously.
  14. Ok.....into the 2nd episode now. Seems like "the meal" isn't the primary focus of this show. Its more a glimpse into a diverse group of individuals and how they found their place through cooking.
  15. Food and drink is a common bond in society. No matter what you believe, do or think, the human race needs to do these two things. That's why I liked Bourdain. No matter the audience or crowd he could always relate.
  16. Thanks for the recommendation. Just watched the first episode. Very good.
  17. My grandma past my brother's gone, I never at once felt so aloneI know you're supposed to be my steering wheel, not just my spare tire(Home!) But Lord, I ask you(Home!) to be my guiding force and truth(Home!) For some strange reason it had to be(Home!) he guided me to Tennessee
  18. I watched "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" a few times and enjoyed it. I dont see it on a much as the other shows.
  19. Over the past several months I've found myself watching more cooking shows/food shows than most other things.....on a side note I'd also like to give a posthumous shout out to Anthony Bourdain. I really miss that guy.....back to business. Chopped Love the Halloween pumpkin contests Guys grocery games Kids baking championship And whatever Giada is cookin....I'd eat an old tire if she prepared it.
  20. Thank you for this.....after the initial incident, this story has gotten very little buzz.
  21. Same here.....full course load for the most part between 30-40 credits while also putting in 30+ hours a week at my job. I was fortunate they let me schedule my hours around school schedule. I had to take an extra year, but made it through.
