I didn’t think there was much on the trade market that was actually available that would actually help us. So I was disappointed cause I of course like adding new talent but nowhere near as bent out of shape as a lot of our posters. Certainly not doom and gloom over the defense we all knew they could play better. I am fine with ups and downs now as long as week 15 or so the whole team gets hot heading into the playoffs. Momentum is huge and I think we still have not seen what these 2020 buffalo bills are really capable of.

Daryl Williams is long gone, of course I’d like him back. He’s gonna get a great above average contract if he stays healthy the rest of the year. I like consistency but we are to the point now where some great talent is gonna be leaving. I’d like Feliciano signed but gauging his market is much tougher. Gonna be another crazy offseason. Similar to what I said last year I’d rather trade our 1st rounder for someone proven and already signed up for 2-3 more years. Rather it’s a tackle or stud linebacker.

I’m torn. I don’t think he’s a bad player, but I also think he’s pretty easily replaced and maybe even upgraded with a low pick in the draft. This offseason will be pretty unpredictable for tons of reasons and I don’t think any of us will win the “what will Beane do” pool.

Crazy thing is he’s a steeler fan, to have them the only unbeaten and his favorite team and ranking buffalo ahead is not his style.

I get the logic, but this is also the one big giant set for life payday players need. He didn’t have a big rookie deal. Health concerns of football not even counting his injuries but just long term. This contract is the one that sets him for life.

I think we will see a similar situation like we had with lawson. I think Beane will let him test the market to see his value. Milano is a good player, but I’m not sure he’s going to command a ton on the open market. Especially given the reduced salary cap. His value in this defense is so much higher than it would be in some others.
