  1. There goes my hopes for the new offensive coordinator.
  2. If I had to add a 4th QB to my own personal rankings of signal callers I'd like to see in a Bills uni, Darnold would be in that spot behind Rosen, Rudolph and Allen.
  3. I hate that and the "clap" snap! WTH are these college coaches teaching these kids?!
  4. In Sam's defense, with the pressure he was seeing, I'm sure the plan was to get the ball out as quickly as possible. How many college QBs have the freedom to audible or do you see running up and down the line calling out protections? This is still college football we're talking about.
  5. I've bashed him plenty, but I do see the appeal of Darnold. When he's in rhythm, he's deadly accurate. Just needs more experience. Whether that's another year of football or a year or 2 on the bench in the NFL...I'll leave that to the professionals.
  6. Never been a fan of Darnold. Rosen, Rudolph or Allen. Those are the only guys worth drafting, IMO.
  7. If he's smart, he'll stay in school another year. He needs it.
  8. Not doing much to break that USC QB stigma.
  9. The Bills bar I go to in Herndon, VA has a Phins bar directly across the street. Makes for a fun time! For anyone who had the privilege of seeing Kelly v Marino, this rivalry should always have legs.
  10. It's like some of you just started watching football. He's a rookie. He'll be just fine.
  11. My gut is that Luck can be had and acquiring him would not command a king's ransom, given his contract and the shoulder injury. I'm not a big fan of Luck, but the Bills have more talent than any team he has played for in Indy.
  12. The Browns have no one to blame but themselves! Who the hell wouldn't try to get out of playing for that disaster of a franchise, given the chance? No matter who they draft, they are almost certain to fail due to the out and out dysfunction. !@#$ the Browns!
  13. Outside of the size, maturity, leadership and ability to play at his best on the biggest stage, you're right.
  14. AND his throwing motion (not bad, but will get batted at the next level), hand size and immaturity... I'm sure they are, despite what fans casually dismiss.
  15. The Mayfield love makes my blood boil. He's the quintessential "great college QB" that will flop in the NFL. The rumor is that the Bills really like Darnold and I won't put it past them to go get their guy, if they don't nab Cousins in free agency.
  16. That's a nice crop to choose from.
  17. Ask any professional gambler what they think about NFL officiating, in general. You've got to get past the Grand conspiracy theory part. It's not scripted, where everyone knows the outcome, but a well placed, back-breaking call or 2 is sometimes all that is necessary. I never questioned anything until the tuck rule. Then the 2005-2006 AFC Championship game (Colts-Steelers) and Super Bowl that followed. (XL) - that was just a sloppy 2 weeks for the NFL. Win, lose or draw, the NFL shares the bulk of its revenue. There was actually a time, not long ago, where Walt Coleman was 11-1 against the spread when his crew worked Pats games.
  18. I didn't know that was a rule, but it makes sense. Walt Coleman should have been behind bars years ago.
  19. Is everyone assuming the Bills are going to win down in Miami? This game is no gimme.
  20. Yeah, I mucked that up
  21. So the AFC South and the NFC North with Ravens and Titans (who also finished 2nd in their divisions) as the "odd ball" games.
  22. Tyrod is a good guy, but if you're content with him as the Bills QB I feel sorry for you. As a Bills fan, you have been beaten into accepting mediocrity. AND McBeane doesn't receive near enough heat for passing the no-brainer that is Deshaun Watson.
